"Moms, I'm- I'm- I'm a Heterosexual"
It was awfully quiet in the car for too long. I knew I shouldn't have told them I made things even more complicated for everyone. My heart was pounding even more now. Tears started streaming down my face and I held my knees up to my chest, as we approached home. Once we got home my mom, Linda, turned around, wiped a tear off my cheek, and smiled.
"There's nothing wrong with that honey. Don't cry." Linda said.
"But I think that we should keep this under the radar for now ok honey?" My other mom, Alex said.
"What?" I responded
"I mean, honey, I don't- I just don't want you to uh get made fun of you know?" Alex said
I unfolded my legs as a confused but angry emotion shined on my face. "You mean, YOU don't want to be mocked, for having a Hetero kid" I scoffed.
Alex wasn't quick enough to respond before I had slammed the car door and ran inside bawling my eyes out.
"Will anyone ever accept me?" I thought out loud as I made my way to my room.
