Catalina.

"Catalina did you have anything to eat? Mom is worried and she's taking my ear off for it," Cataleya's concerned voice sounded from the doorway of my busy bedroom.

"Yes I did. I had a full breakfast thanks to Padma," I answered as Izabella finished shaping my eyebrows with a little flair. I winced when I felt a slight pull as Carima wildly ran the comb through my curls.

"Must you guys work on me at the same time?" I groaned as Carima pulled or more like tugged my hair away from my face.

"Do you want to reach to the church on time?" Izabella asked, whipping out her makeup kit.

"I have an hour and a half to go, I had my bath already and my nails are done. I'm going to be on time, stop stressing you guys." I played with the strings on my silk robe.

"With Carima moving at that pace, your hair will take at least an hour," Diana chuckled, allowing Adelia to finish up her look for today, the light makeup doing wonders to hide the prominent bags under her eyes.

"Would you like to come and do my job?" Carima stopped, holding my hair dangerously tight in one hand.

"I would like to have hair by the end of the day thank you very much." I chuckled nervously.

"No I'm fine," Diana stretched like a cat then snatched her maid of honour dress from the closet."This colour is amazing but will it go with my tan though? Let's find out shall we."

Izabella took a break and I was able cran my neck to see what Carima was doing. She had all the hair positioned at the middle of my head. Using deft fingers, she divided my hair into two parts then twisted it into one before finishing off by wrapping the twist into a bun. Cataleya handed her a black comb with a pointed edge and she used it to tug on the shorter curls from the bun to give it some volume then she pulled and spun two longer strands to fall by each ear. Carima then took the smallest hair brush I had ever seen from her bag and began to set the unruly baby hairs that littered my hairline with some very sweet smelling hair product.

"That should do it," Carima tilted my head to the side to get a better look at her work.

"You ever consider doing this for a living?" I was very impressed as I scanned myself in the mirror.

"I like my current job thank you very much," she chuckled.

"Is everyone clothed in there? I don't want to get knocked out today," Josep rapped at the door.

"Come in you clown," Cataleya huffed.

"Catalina, I have a problem. She wouldn't stop crying and I've tried everything." his face was contorted in anguish as he held Selene whose little face was quite red from bawling her eyes out.

"What did you do?" Carima asked increduously,"She's never cried like this with us."

"Give her to me," I took her from him and immediately her cries began to tone down.

"I don't know what happened! She woke up and I guess she didn't see either of her parents so maybe she freaked out?" Josep certainly looked spooked.

"It's going to be okay. Alright babygirl, I understand. Mommy is here for you." I rocked her gently as her screams were placated and turned into whimpers. Slowly but surely after a few minutes she was dozing away, her fists still balled up from squeezing her comforter.

"How do you know what to do?" Josep looked fascinated.

"When you have a child it will come automatically," I sat down at my boudoir again.
