Chapter 5

Friday finally came. I couldn't stop thinking about what Kalani said.

Nick was being completely normal all day, the usual flirting.

I love Friday's because all day I either have Kalani, Paige or Nick in one of my classes.

Me and Paige are staying at Kalani's house after the date. I couldn't wait, but the day was slugging along more than any Friday ever had.

Finally the bell rang at 4. Me and Paige went to find Kalani after Home Ec.

We collected out bags from our lockers and hopped onto the bus to Lani's house. We eat at the back like we always do and the boys sit in front of us.

The bus stopped at Lani's stop and we got off.

"See you guys later" Nick called.

I saw was passing Kendall, why was she on this bus? Must be going to Nia's.

I jokingly blew Nick a kiss. Emery wolf whistled and Nick blew one back.

I giggled.

We hopped off the bus and headed to Kalani's house.

"What was that about Mads? Sudden rush of confidence?"

Her and Paige laughed. I joined in.

"Nah, just to piss off Kendall." I admitted.

"It was hella cute anyway" Paige said
