A/N: Finally! (And for real this time, since I had published and unpublished an unfinished version of this chapter! Please reload Wattpad if you're having issues seeing this chapter in its entirety.) So sorry about the wait—I know how much you guys love Genji. Without further ado, I present you the Genji ending. And yes, you all are virgins in this one, too.

You woke up to experience a phenomenon that only Genji could incite.

How would one explain it?

Genji was an enigma, a... mystery to you. His ability to simultaneously calm and throw you into panic was uncanny. He could dissolve your fears and lessen your worries. At the same time, he was capable of making your heart race so fast, you felt like it would burst out of your chest.

Most especially when he was holding you in his arms, with his body pressed against yours—when he was so intimately close.

Had it always been this way?

Despite the slight fever and malaise you were experiencing, you were still very much conscious of your surroundings. Your senses were neither limited nor dulled. And you felt every single thing coming into contact with you—including the flannel sheets, the woolen blankets, and... him.

Being this near to the man you'd fallen deeply in love with was... heady. Intoxicating. The swelling in your chest made you dizzy. He made you dizzy.

Slowly, you opened your eyes. Hesitant, you looked up to see Genji's serene face, his well-defined features of sensuous lips, highly-arched brow, and--

Your train of thought went interrupted when he opened his eyes. Those eyes, bright and kind, gazed into yours and immediately ignited a thousand tiny sparks in you. You felt your body tensing and your cheeks warming. "Hi," You squeaked out, darting your gaze away for a second.

"Good evening," He smiled, the diffuse scarring on his countenance could not take away from his allure.

"Evening?" You repeated as the adrenaline rush of surprise shot you up in bed. "How long was I..." You surveyed the familiar surroundings and realized that you were no longer in the Himalayas. "...asleep?"

"Nearly thirteen hours," Genji replied as he sat up alongside you. "You slept quite well."

"Why are we back in my room? ...we're back at base?" You hesitated to ask as you redirected your gaze to him. "I thought-- what happened to Nepal?"

He smiled apologetically before answering, "Bringing you there without allowing you sufficient preparation was unwise of me. You seem to have caught a slight fever, and I couldn't spare you warm clothes while we were there." His hand reached up and tucked a stray lock of hair behind your ear. The tender gesture he displayed made the butterflies rampage in your belly. "Dr. Ziegler said it was just from lack of sleep and fatigue, and that you'd recover in a day."

You trained your eyes on his face but were too stunned to utter a word.

"I talk too much, don't I?"

"No," After recovering your thoughts and giving a shake of your head, you beamed at him. "You're just... so good to me, Genji."

You saw the color rising to his cheeks, but he gave a confident grin and said, "Believe me, you make it easy." Without giving you much time to process his words, he planted a kiss on your forehead and rose to his feet. "Commander Morrison asked for my presence. I will return soon."
