Where the fuck am I?

Is the first thing that crossed my mind as I cracked an eye open, taking in the unfamiliar surrounding--before everything from last night came rushing back.

Yeah, the night at the club, trying to shake that creep off my tail, and--

I jolted awake as I felt someone nuzzling their face to my chest underneath the blanket, immediately sitting up, rubbing my face as a groan escaped my lips.

--yeah. That undeniably hot fuck.

"Why so shy all of a sudden, baby?" She-who-I-must've-forgotten-the-name, purred, not bothering to cover up her nakedness, "you--"

"The fuck," I jerked away, looking for my pants on the floor, "Just because we fucked last night, doesn't mean we will today, or any other day."

"But," in this moment, she just had the thought to cover herself up, ha ha, "it was you who said I'm perfect last night."

"Move on, love." I grunted, "it was just a fuck. Besides, I didn't take your innocence, so don't try and get clingy."

Shrugging on my shirt, I sighed as I was met with silence--here goes.

"Look," I sighed yet again, pushing my glasses up, "I'm an arse. I know that, and that's why you deserve to be with someone better than me. Our moment was only last night, and that's it. Someone, will give you far better nights, and that's not me."

She looked up at me, her eyes filled with unshed tears, "I have so much, yet no words to say."

"Then it's better if you don't," I stood up and made my way towards the door, "take care."

"..you look awful." Alex commented as he slouched on the couch in my office--a.k.a. our temporary meeting place, "is the fuck not good enough?"

I scoffed, lighting up a cigarette, "unlike you, my world doesn't focus on sex."

"What got your knickers in a twist?" He asked, a smirk playing on his lips.

I sighed, at the same time puffs of smoke left my lips, "you know what this is all about. This fucking meeting, no one hasn't arrived yet, but when they do, I don't know, I can't guarantee either Kaden or Grey wouldn't lash out. If they do, fuck my life."

"Oh," he laughed as Charlie elbowed his side, a playful grin on his face, "seriously mate, I thought it's because of the heat tomorrow."

Fuck.my.life.

I groaned at his words, puffs of smoke escaping my nose, "Fuck the Moon Goddess or anyone people fucking praised."

Charlie smirked, "you're only saying that cause you don't have a mate."

"Says you." I shot back, immediately silencing him, leaving Alex snickering quietly to himself.

In mere seconds, something stole our attention.

Yeah, a tiny butterfly fluttering into my office..

Kidding. It's Payden barging into my office, out of breath, his eyes a deep pool of anxiety as he pinned his gaze on me.

"They're lashing out."

I sighed as I followed Payden out, immediately hearing the commotion going on merely metres from my office. Wow.

"Chill, fucking chill!" I growled as I went in between Kaden and Grey, pushing them away from each other as both snarled and tried to claw each other's throat, all the while Andreas and Payden immediately acted and pulled both their Alphas away from each other.
