"Okay class, quiet please! We have a new student this year. She came from a long way away to join us." Miss Hanegawa struggled to quiet the class, excited by its newest, oddest arrival, the girl with the mint green hair.
Sesuru stood up and walked to the front of the class. Everyone was looking at her. She nervously smoothed out her skirt and clasped her hands.
"Hello everyone. My name is Madrasca Deloscu Sesurube Delocua dam Revelda, and I come from a place far, far away."
"The Culture right?"
Murmurs spread around the class.
"Please be quiet"
"Yes, I am from The Culture"
"You're an alien right?" called out another voice.
"She doesn't look too much like one."
"Is your hair naturally that color?"
"Class! Please be quiet"
"Uhm, yes, I am from the Culture and uhm, anyways I look forward to spending the next three years with you and..."
The classroom erupted in a flurry of questions.
"Going well I see" said Verda, over the terminal posing as one of Sesurube's earrings.
"I... I..."
Hanegawa rapped her desk loudly. "Quiet class! Let's calm down and start our lessons, and then later today we'll arrange some time for questions."
Hanegawa nodded at a flustered Sesurube, and she headed back to her desk.
