The rain hammered against my air conditioner as I sat on the couch waiting for Calum. Morty was curled up next to me, snoring the day away.
As time ticked on, I laid down, sending calum a text telling him the front door was unlocked.
Putting my phone down I rested my head against the arm rest and shutting my eyes.
The sound of a phone ringing clouded my mind.
4 times it rang.
"Hi you've reached the y/l/n household, we can't get to the phone right now, please leave a message after the-"
A 2 second screeching beep was heard.
"Hey y/n, please call me when you get this, it's an emergency."
Michael's voice was cracking, like he had been crying.
I opened my eyes to Morty's tail resting on my face.
I sat up and looked at my watch 2:34 am.
A loud banging sound came from in front of me.
The front door was open and the glass on it was shattered on the ground along with puddles of water from the raging storm outside.
"You can't replace me."
Echoed through the house.
