love letters to the wrong person for all the right reasons

an ode to sleep

i have always been intrigued by the
moon and sun
and their romantic way of loving each other.
the way they are meant to be together,
but sacrifice themselves
before they can find the other half
just to let us live.
however with the stars and clouds
to guide them
and the dawn to turn to dusk,
i know they will never give up.
so close but so far away.
it gives me hope
for a better tomorrow.
