"Listen to this, four men have mysteriously vanished in this last week- all in Wood county, in East Texas." Sam read as I barely stayed awake in the front seat on Dean's car.
"That could be anything, Sam." Dean scoffed, shutting down his little brother quickly.
"Fine.. Let's take a vote on it, then." Sam said leaning towards the front, I slowly sat up as I inhaled deeply.
"Fine." Dean sourly gave in, "All in favor of taking a small detour and checking this place out, raise your hand." Sam said and we both raised our hands, Dean gave us each a small glare.
"You've been overruled." Sam smirked, "Ha-ha, little lawyer boy." Dean said, although no smile was found on his face.
"Dean, we're still going to find Azazel, and you're dad.. but, we have no leads right now." I spoke quietly, trying to calm down Dean.
He sighed deeply before glancing at me, I gave him a reassuring smile and he chuckled lightly.
"Get some shuteye, Jenny." He said and I swiftly hit his chest with the back of my hand.
I smirked as he laughed, "I'm kidding! Get some sleep, Jane." He smiled sweetly over at me.
And for a second, the good--loving memories flooded my mind.
I cleared my throat before leaning my head against the window, my heavy eyelids barely being able to stay open as my eyes watched the lights of a small town.
They drifted closed, my mind getting some rest as I breathed softly.
--
I woke up as I inhaled deeply, my eyes opening to see a dimly lit room with two beds taking up most of the room.
I rolled over to see Dean snoring softly, I smirked before sitting up, softly groaning because being thrown around like a rag doll doesn't exactly make you feel young-- but that was part of the job description.
Sam walked into the motel room, carrying three coffees and a small paper bag that hopefully had food in it.
"Hey, I got bagels." He said, noticing I was up and conscious, I stood up and walked over, thanking him for the breakfast that I craved.
"Thanks for carrying me in last night." I thanked Sam, because I knew Dean, and Dean would make his little brother do the heavy lifting.
"Uh, actually, it was Dean." He said and I raised my eyebrows, "You're kidding." I lightly scoffed as I looked back at the sleeping beauty.
I sighed because I had a weird gut feeling as I looked at the guy who hurt me what feels like forever ago.
"So, have you found out anything about the missing people?" I asked the tall, long haired man.
"No, but I figure once sleepyhead wakes up, we can get in our usual get up and go start asking some real questions." He said and I nodded, "I'm going to go shower." I said finishing my food.
I got out of the shower, not even 15 minutes later. I changed into more professional wear, since I knew what 'usual get-up' meant when Sam and Dean Winchester were involved.
