Chapter 17 - Distance

"Do you have a plan?" jiyong asked sitting back as he crossed his legs

"Many" Jaeguk replied "you know that jeongyeon have many weak points?"

"Like?"

"His son, momo and I am sure you like the last one"

Jiyong laughed "I do"

"I will tell you a deep secret jiyong-ssi" Jaeguk said and sat in front of him "he and momo didn't get married because of a love story"

"yeah I think it's obvious"

"Momo's brother is a criminal" Jaeguk stated, jiyong raised his eyebrows in shock

"he killed an old man, jeongyeon kidnapped him and he is in the USA and this is his address and phone number, he is her weak point and if jeongyeon lost him, momo won't find a reason to stay with him" said Jaeguk confidently unaware of the love connecting jeongyeon and momo, but is that love really unbreakable?

Jiyong took a deep breath while staring at Jaeguk

"You can also do thing that will make him broke" Jaeguk suggested but got nothing from jiyong

"Sending low-quality materials to his building projects"

"Woaah ajashi! I really like you" jiyong clapped "I am in" he said as he smirked, and this was the beginning of the war and betrayal.

Few days passed... yoo's mansion

They were eating dinner in the closed garden, it was snowing and they wanted to see the huge yard filled with the white color, except momo who kept looking around, like she is waiting for someone

"Are you okay momo?" jeongyeon asked

"Yes!" she said holding his hand, her eyes brighten when she looked at chaeyoung, she got up and walked to him, jeongyeon, nara, iseul and dahyun were looking at her in shock, wondering what's wrong with her.

She dragged chaeyoung away from their sight

"Here take it! You nag a lot like mina!" he joked earning a hit on his shoulder from the younger girl

She took the small box and put it under jeongyeon's pillow and rushed back to the garden where iseul and jeongyeon were eating some dessert.

Jeongyeon was obviously angry and momo noticed it making her giggle

"Noona do you want?" iseul said offering momo some mango

"No no thanks!" she said and touched her stomach as she felt sick

'It's probably cause I ate so much' she thought

"I ate well" jeongyeon said coldly and got up, momo smiled and called the nanny to take care of iseul while she rushed back to her room where jeongyeon was changing his clothes, she sat nonchalantly on the bed, reading a book but she actually was just trying to ignore jeongyeon who lied next to her, he felt something weird under his pillow

"Hm?" he hummed as he took a small watch box, he opened it and smiled, there was a Rolex silver watch

"hmm? Who did put this here?" he joked

"maybe the tooth fairy" momo joked back while leaning to see it

"Check it!" she said before he closed the box, he took it and was about to wear it when he noticed something written on it back

'Thank you, my love, for always making me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world' he read silently, the words were engraved on the watch's back.
