I sat there with a broken dark haired teen her face was as if the worst thing possible just happened to her she was vulnerable and clearly heartbroken her caramel colored cheeks were stained red with tears
"Kaylan what's wrong" I said holding her she's the only one of Nova's girls I've ever gotten along with the rest always had a problem with me being his best friend.
"N-nova" she sobbed I started to get kind of scared because she was so frantic I thought something was wrong "Nova what what's going on?!" I yell as my anxiety goes through the roof expecting her to tell me that he got into a fight or something or he was hurt
"H-he c-cheated on me J" she looked at My with a blank face almost like she couldn't feel anything anymore my heart broke for her because they have been together for almost a year now.
"Oh Kaylan I'm so sorry how'd you find out " I hugged her as tight as I could because I knew she was hurting
"I was about to go to the mall so I stopped by because I always stop by because it's on the way when I got there there was no one in there so I walked back to his room and him and some girl we're on the bed kissing"
She continued getting teary eyed I rubbed her back trying to comfort her as much as I possibly could.
"they didn't notice me so I cleared my throat causing them to jump up he had a lot of excuses but I saw it with my own eyes and I broke up With him right there I didn't know what else to do so I came here because I knew you would talk to me sorry"
I felt so bad for her she was a really nice girl she loved him so much and she was so loyal I couldn't believe him
"No don't be sorry I'm the one who should be sorry I can't believe he did that to you and I Will always be here to talk to you if you need me I don't care he's my best friend or not he's the wrong one in this situation" I told the shattered teen
She stood up and hugged me and cried for a little bit longer " I think I'm gonna head home" She sniffed
"Ok girl call me if you need to talk" I smiled softly she smiled back weakly and turned to walk out of the door.

Me-Yeah.

Me-My house.

When we got back home everybody fell asleep watching a movie except nova and I.
We where watching the rest of the movie and nova started to speak randomly.
"You think we could make this work?"
I sat there for a second thinking what to say and where to start because I was more scared than anything because he's my best friend and I don't want anything to happen to that and thinking back on Kaylan getting her heartbroken
"I'm scared Nova" I sighed finally speaking his face grew into a slight frown
"Of what?"he questioned I don't understand what he doesn't get because it cost us our whole friendship and I definitely don't want that to happen.
"Of a relationship ruining our friendship because we've been friends since we were 2years old you're literally all I have right now and I don't want to lose you and I'm scared to get my heart broken ." I fess up
"If it doesn't work I promise things will go back to normal please just try"he looks me in the eye that was a part of nova I have never seen before he was so passionate and sincere as he looked me in the eye.
"Okay."I smile
"Really" he said his smile melted my heart
I nodded my head assuring him he smiled even bigger and kissed me passionately I kiss back and finally it felt right because the first time we kissed I didn't know if he liked me or not but now that I know who shouldn't be any other way.
I'm happy but There's still part of me that is scared that I might lose my best friend and I might get my heart broken I don't want to love too hard because I already love him so much
he's always been there for me and I don't want to get caught up in the relationship that will ruin it all but I also have to focus on my music too.
