john's POV

GLASS

Looking through the glass,

John was PRETTY,

John was VIBRANT,

John was BEAUTIFUL.

Though when he turned away,

He was forced to face reality.

Chapped cherry lips,

Ghostly pale face,

Silver hair, that shined gray

in the spark of life

He wanted more than his paramour,

He wanted someone to feel,

To touch

To love.

John often found himself on the edge,

Tittering on the outskirts of the cliff.

Ready for the split second

Water would saturate the flame under his breast.

But for now,

He continues the facade

The life the Others want him to have.

Looking through the GLASS.
