Chapter 5

In front of me,there was Brody.

He was about to take a shower at the same time with me!

We were both naked and we just stood there for the next seconds saying nothing.

I tried to cover myself.I was so embarrased!

But he just stood there winking at me.

The whole thing was so weird so I decided to do something.

''Um,I guess Im going now...'',I said shaking.

''Where are you going?'',he said smiling at me.

''Home?Sorry for interrupting-''

''Its ok.Seriously.''

''Bye...''

''Dont be shy!Come on lets take a shower together.''

What did he just said?

''No way!I shouldnt come here at all.Bye you jerk!''

And just like that I closed the door and I ran downstairs.

I got dressed and I left his house.

That was embarrasing...

But thats life.

When I returned home,I couldnt find my mom.

''Mom?Is anybody here?''

I went upstairs to finally take a shower but then I heard someone knocking at the door.

I thought it was my mom so I went downstairs  to open the door with my underwear.

Im so stupid.

I opened the door and I saw my mom.

But she wasnt alone.

Next to her was a man I didnt know.

I was so embarrased again!

I ran upstairs to put some clothes.

''Who was that?'',the man said.

''Omg...um it was my daughter,Ashley.'',mom said.

''Oh.'',the man said.

I saw them sitting on the couch and I decided to go talk to him,find out who he was.

''Hi there!'',I said loudly.

''Hi Ashley.Im David.''

''Uh David do you want anything to drink?'',mom said.

''No Im fine thanks.'',David said.

''So mom,who is David?'',I said wondering.

''Um David is...is my..um my-''

''Ashley,Im your mothers new boyfriend.'',David said smiling at my mom.

Excuse me?

Did I heard that right?

Her new boyfriend?

Mom didnt tell me any of this!

I didnt even know she was seeing someone.

She has to explain a lot of things...

''What?But how?When?Why?'',I said confused.

''Honey,me and David are dating a while now,so we decided to take things to the next level.'',mom said.

''But I...I mean...'',I said trying to understand what was going on.

''Look Ashley,your mother told me about your dad.Im so sorry for your lost.But Im not gonna try to replace him.I just want to be your good friend.'',David said.
