After long moments of flirting and laughter, Taehyung has been called by his friends, drawing him to them after shooting a wink at Laena.

So she'd decided to drink some fresh air.

But the two great balconies situated at each side of the ballroom were already filled with people, as if they chose the same decision as hers right at that moment.

She sighed in annoyance and glanced around her; she wanted at least a small place of peace and quiet.

To her surprise, she saw a set of stairs on both sides of the room that led to...another floor. Upstairs. The front of the stairs were half hidden by golden curtains, perhaps for the sole reason for anyone seeking for some privacy?

She didn't care, so she headed for the stairs. As she stepped up, she looked down at the ballroom, the guests' intricate features of their outfits becoming less and less visible as she went up.

She searched for Taehyung, whom she spotted a moment later laughing with his friends, a dark scarlet drink in his hand.

Chuckling at his cute smile, she turned away as she found herself on top of the stairs, her eyes drinking in the sight of a deserted hallway.
