I had just finished packing before Mark called me.
Mark: hey Ethan! what time is your flight leaving and what time is it arriving here?
Ethan: hey! it's leaving in 45 minutes, and ill be at our apartment in around 7 hours haha
Mark: okay that's all i needed to really know...love you bye!!
Then he hung up.
It was a pretty normal conversation until the end.

I snatch my phone off my counter and text Ethan.
I didn't mean to tell him yet...
Mark: I DIDNT MEAN TO SAY I LOVE YOU AT THE END. FORCE OF HABIT. SO SORRY..
Ethan: its ok man..
Mark: ok bye.
I can't believe I said that.. I love him but, I'm just not ready to tell him.. I dont want to ruin our friendship.
