"I don't mean to I just leave before it can end in flames," she almost whispered.
"You leave before it can end yes but you leave people broken. You love them in their favourite places so that they can't go back there without thinking of you, you love them in the most beautiful ways and leave them in the worst, you make it so that they can't even think of loving someone again without tasting blood. You are the reason that storms are named after people you sweep them along and drop them and ruin them," he replies to her giving her the exact words or her former flames.
"Why does it matter to you?" she shoots back.
"I want to be next. And maybe just maybe I'll teach you what it's like to be swept along only to be left shattered on the rocks. Are you on for the ride?"
"Yes. I remember learning that the most colourful insects are the most poisonous let's see if those vibrant blues prove to be as poisonous as they look."
