"Hi is this Delilah Parker?" The unknown voice asked when I picked up the phone.
"This is her. Who is this?"
"I am Dr. Jensen, earlier today your parents were brought to the hospital after a shooting over at the Ben Sawyer Bridge. They both were critically injured. I'm so sorry, but your parents didn't make it."
I dropped the phone.
