You and Kai both got bored one day while in the prison world and decided that is was good idea to play hide and seek.
The rules were you had to leave not so obvious clues as to were you were and you allowed to hide anywhere but you could not leave Mystic Falls.
After a few hours of playing the scores were tied it was now your turn so you decided to hide at the grill mainly because you wanted a drink and secondly you wanted Kai to find you because you were getting tired.
The clue you left him read: Where you broke my neck for the first time; it was the first week alone with Kai and you kept getting on each other nerves and you would get in argument easily which always ended in one of you dead.
After 30 minutes of waiting Kai finally showed up. "Really that clue was easy" he said walking in grabbing a glass of bourbon from behind the bar "Well I wanted you to find me I'm tried , I just want to go home and go to sleep" you told him "But still, you could find a better hiding spot " he said smirking at you " I know I chose not to" you sasses him he just smirked at you as you drank in a peaceful silence just enjoying each other's company.
