I know he probably had something else in mind when I pulled out the Monopoly box and I think he laughed a little as I was getting the stuff out. "You're cute" he says.
We played for a while and I actually lost track of time because when I looked it was 4:00am. We finally managed to wrap up the game, since I was beating him pretty bad. "Aren't you taking law? Shouldn't you be good at arguing?" I ask.
"I'm not a lawyer yet" he chuckles. "Right" I say.
"Besides, I totally let you win".
"Oh did you?" I ask playfully.
"Yea, you know it would suck if I beat you the first time".
"And why is that?" I can't help but smile.
"Cause, then you wouldn't want to play again" he says shyly, which surprises me cause he always seems pretty cocky to me.
I laugh and look away slightly. I probably look like a wreck and I'm surprised we both didn't pass out yet.
I start to clean up the game with his help. We both stand up off the floor holding the box, staring at each other, until I turn to put the game away.
"So, thanks for keeping me company. Sorry for taking you away from your sleep" he puts his hands in his pockets. "Yea, it's fine, I wasn't gonna sleep anyway" I smile.
"Okay well, I'll leave you to it" he says opening my door. "Yea" I sit down. "Goodnight".
Laying on my bed, sleepless, I still can't stop thinking about how good looking he is. The way his muscles flex when he moves his arms and how I just wanna jump his bones every time I see him in those grey sweatpants. Staring at the same four walls I try to take my mind off him, but it's harder than you'd think.
I wake up to my moms yelling from downstairs. She's calling me down and I slowly rub my eyes to check the time. It's already 1:00pm on a Saturday.
I slowly walk downstairs, later on regretting walking past the mirror in my room before checking just how bad I looked. I walk into the living room to find my mom, Ryan and Sawyer all sitting on the couches. Ryan snorts as he sees my appearance. "Jeez that's a nice look". Sawyer looks up from his phone as he hears Ryan. I see him crack a small polite smile, he didn't want to laugh at Ryan's comment.
"Honey, the boys wanted to go to the pool today, it's so nice outside so I was thinking you should join them". I am still squinting from the brightness of the living room. "Do I have to?" I ask. "Oh come on, it will be fun, plus I have to run errands today so I will be out" my mom says placing her iced tea down on the glass coffee table. "I think it's a great idea" Sawyer says.
Ryan gives him a look but Sawyer just mouths something to him. "Great, sweetie you should get changed" mom says and I sigh turning around to go back upstairs where I get ready quickly and brush my teeth.
Since I know Sawyer is gonna be there, I gotta make sure I look presentable. I decide to wear my simple black bikini with the top that has great cleavage and the bottom that makes my bum look great.
I walk downstairs and of course Sawyer is shirtless again with a towel swung over his shoulder. He just always has to make things 10 times harder for me. I try my best to ignore it as I stand there with him, while my brother searches for the car keys.
The pool we are going to is a small community pool in the middle of our neighbourhood. It was never too busy, but there were always a lot of college kids there.
