"The moon is fascinating especially if there are two."
I stretched and curled my toes in the crisp air. My pale skin glistened under the sheer moonlight. I could not help but admire the moon as it floated over the waves. The two seducing each other as lovers under the sheets. A suggestive smile played on my lips as I watched the coy creatures.
I reached for my glass, which was waiting on the beach table. My fingers curled around the stem while my nails clinked. I sniffed at the rusty drink. It overpowered my senses. The chilled metallic taste, at one time would have made me vomit, now comforted me.
The intercom's crackling cut into my thoughts.
"Didn't I tell you I don't want to be disturbed" I scrutinized.
"Captain we have reached the outer limits."
"So soon."
"Yes Captain. We will have visual in 5 minutes."
"I am on my way."
With a click, off went the scant moon stalked by the waves. I retracted my fangs, changed into uniform and rushed out of the hologram room.
I reached the bridge and took command as they appeared on screen.
"Phobos and Deimos"
