"Yah right!" I continued stacking the packs in the empty store.
Why did I ever take this job? I could have been a Lawyer like Lawrence or worked at the graveyard like Benny but no I had to be here. Father would have approved. He even approved Bianca working at the morgue. All bright and peppy.
Well I am no Lawrence or Benny or Bianca and those are not the only jobs for our kind! I am no sweet talker or dullard. Not the eternal sun shine either but I am here aren't I. I've made my point, haven't I? I am doing pretty well.

With cameras everywhere and 911 you can't grab a person and feast. Being a vampire, in this age, is no easy task.
