Jade’s POV

I walk down the street following the directions I was given I was skipping school to meet my brother I had a hoodie and jeans on I reach the apartment block and see a boy across the road looking at me he didn’t look much older than me I enter and walk to his apartment I hear music playing and I knock a boy answers he wasn’t much taller than me had brown hair and eyes a goofy smile on his face

“jade?”

he asks as I smile

“yeah that’s me”

I say as he hugs me

“I'm Liam”

he says as I sit next to him

“I know who you are Liam you are THE Liam Payne from one direction famous British/Irish boy band or as I know you my twin brother”

I say as he laughs

“yes, yes I am”

he says pulling a face there was no denying we are related.

I run home and get my stuff tonight was the night of the school concert and Liam was going to be there he said he was bringing his friends I walk through the door into the hall and run behind stage I spot Todd standing by himself I walk over Todd was my ‘normal’ friend type as Anna put it where as Alex wasn’t Alex was the boy I had been forced to go out with to get closer to his family he was a jerk I hated him and Todd could tell, he had asked me many times why I was going out with him and was very happy when we broke up Todd was my partner for the duets I was doing I felt bad  singing one though it was OUR song before I moved I shake my head now was not the time to be thinking of HIM Todd looks up and smiles

“where's your dress?”

he asks as I laugh

“you really think you were getting me in a dress”

I say turning to him as he bursts out laughing

“nah didn’t think so”

he says smiling I smile to he knew me so well

“isn’t that a guy’s jacket?”

he asks as I laugh

“and what”

I say laughing it was HIS he (not Todd) had given it to me on our last night together 1 week before I moved

“your such a trendsetter”

he says laughing as I get up there were 5 minutes before show time 5 minutes till I was dancing 8 minutes before I had to say who I was what I do 10 minutes till I sing OUR song in front of my brother I try not to freak as I get makeup and hair done Todd walks over and sees me looking at Alex

“he's not worth it”

he says as I smile

“I know”

I say hugging him

“don’t be nervous you are a great dancer and awesome singer”

he says as our music starts I run on stage and dance my ass off when the music stops we stand in a line up the front of the stage everyone the music we talk over starts first WMYB by 1D then it will be ok by Jordan Jansen Alex steps forward

“my name is Alex I'm 18 recently made single by a whore”

he says smirking at me and stepping back I try not to cry or run over and punch him I feel Todd's hand on my arm not sure if it was to reassure me or stop me from hitting him I was glad I was next to Todd a fewpeople seek then was Emma my only chick friend ever

“I'm Emma I'm 17 and my friend is not a whore not by far and was smart to dump her dick of a boyfriend”

she says as I look at her and mouth the words thanks next up was Todd

“I'm Todd 18 a bit of a loner but I stick up for the friends I have especially  one who is beautiful and amazing”

he says smiling at me I step forward

“my name is Jade I'm 18 and I love my friends all of them even the ones I don’t see any more, more than they will ever know”

I say stepping back we all turn and walk back stage me to biff my jeans on and go back out I change and wait until I hear my cue those first few notes…
