Jade’s POV

I smile as I walk off the stage that went well as soon as I step backstage I am surrounded by people telling me I done good all I wanted to do was cry all the memories were too much it was a good thing I can go home now I go to find a teacher and tell her I'm leaving I'm just so tired I manage to make it home and collapse onto my bed what a night first my ex making me look bad then my friends making him look bad while my brother and his friends watched I wonder what Liam had to say to that I look over at the wall to my one direction posters at the familiar faces staring back one stuck out more Zayn…

~~flash back~~

I sing at the top of my lungs trying to outdo my best friend Zayn standing next to me we were at his house and we were singing our song

All this time, I can't believe I couldn't see

He yells still sounding amazing

I sing still trying to outdo him

We finish the song and end up looking deep into each other’s eyes I loved him but didn’t want to tell him every time I started to like someone we moved

“that was fun”

he says laughing oh how I loved him

“how many times have I told you to try out for x factor but will you no”

I say jabbing him in the ribs playfully

“fine then I will when I'm 16 I promise just for you”

he says as I cheer

“about time”

I say laughing “will you be my first fan?”

he asks looking at me with puppy dog eyes

“of course I will no matter what happens between now and then I will be cheering you on I promise”

I say hoping that I could be there to cheer him on not somewhere else in the world

I had kept my promise had been there from the start before he was put in one direction I voted every week hoping they would win and had watched his fame grow hoping he still remembered me.
