Chapter 3

Abbas is  in the car driving and he spotted Atika at the other side of the road .he stopped his car and called out to her
Abbas:Atika!
Atika:(turned to Abbas side and spotted him)abbas!
Abbas:(smiled)signing her to come
As atika tried to cross the road a car  from the other side hits her and she fell down in a river by her side .blood is seen rushing from her body and all over the water
Abbas:ya Allah!atika!(coming out from the car)
He rushes to her saves her and carried her in his arms to the car

*****AT THE HOSPITAL*****
Atika is seen in the icu with doctors examining her while Abbas is seen outside the room worried
Ameera and asad comes and gets shocked seeing atikas condition
Ameera:ya Allah my child (sobbing)
Asad:but beta how did this happen
Abbas:dad I saw her walking on the road and called her to give a lift so as she tried to cross the road a car hits
Her
Just then khadija and suhail comes im running.
Khadija:mum is she going to be alright.
Ameera:calm down dear nothing will happen
Suhail:InshaAllah nothing will happen khadija just stop crying
Khadija:suh I cant loose her I just cant (crying)
Abbas:khadija I think you should inform her family
Khadija:but Abbas she doesn't have a family
Ameerah:what!
Khadija:yes mum atika is alone,she was the only kid her parents had and they died when she was 6 years
her aunties refused to accept her so she went to orphanage until she started earning and bought her own house .
Ameerah:ya Allah khadija you should have told us .we would have kept her with us after all she is one of us
Atika:mum she refused and I didn't have a choice
Just then the doctor came out
All:doctor how is she
Khadija:is she alright
Asad:doctor I hope there is no problem right
Doctor:as of now she is out of danger but if she doesn't regain consciousness after 7 hours she may slip into comma .the next 7 hours are very critical
Asad:ok doctor thank you
Doctor.excuse me (as he made his way to the next ward)
Khadija:ya Allah I only have atika as my best Freind please don't snatch her away
Suhail:calm down khadija all will be well we just have to pray

All prayed for atika and hope she regains consciousness soon.after 2 hours atika regains consciousness and the doctors are checking on her
Ameerah and all were very happy and kept saying alhamdullillah
Just then the doctor comes out and says am sorry there is a bad news
All shocked
Doctor:as the result of the accident patient is suffering from temporary blindness .
Khadija:what you mean she can't see
Doctor :yes from what we observed a nerve has gone out of place but with time she will regain her eyesight
Abbas:ya Allah what is this new problem
All gets shocked and khadija breaks down
