ＯＮＥ

For many people, children born into wealthy families are often considered blessed. Since their parents have more money than they know what to do with, the children are often spoiled; they always get what they want, when they want it and can get away with anything. 

Even though most people, who weren't born to privilege, often associate those who were with negative characteristics; such as stubborn, proud and narcissistic, there is no denying the slight longing to be just like them.

Everybody knows the true value of money. In this modern era, money is what makes the world go round. As sad as it may be; there are not many people on this planet who would be willing to do something for free, without any gain. Everybody is selfish to some extent and that is why our world has so much evil. Selfishness and greed go hand in hand and control their prey to bid to their needs. 

Going back to where we first started, the negativity surrounding rich people is not always true. Stereotypes are a thing that dominate our current society. They are everywhere around us and corrupt the innocent mind to view certain things in a different way. 

Jimin in particular didn't fit into this stereotype. Born with a silver spoon in her mouth, Jimin didn't end up like how many people thought she would. She was the complete opposite of the egotistical facade that people associated with her. Growing up, she was a sheltered girl, practically swimming in the childish innocence we all had once possessed and far from independent.

Brought up without a mother, the girl had seen many a nanny come and go. Along with the nannies, Jimin had heard of many people entering and leaving the mansion. The maids were never ones to go a day without gossiping but have learned to keep their gossiping hushed and vague for the sake of the young mistress. Despite this, Jimin still heard of men in black suits and briefcases entering her father's office, of women in so called "ridiculous getup" paying a visit and of men who were "restrained" being escorted to the basement. The young girl was slightly irritated how she couldn't even enter all the rooms in her own home, but has taken to keep her thoughts to herself for a quieter life.

Her father was always busy, in fact, and his daughter couldn't remember a day in her life when he wasn't constantly going away on business trips. Most of the time he was away from home, which resulted in their small family not having the greatest bond. There was always an awkward silence between the two if the latter was present. Meals were eaten without any smalltalk, there was a lack of skinship between the father and daughter, and both didn't greet each other as they passed down the halfway.

The only things that Jimin had been taught to do in all her 16 years of life on this world, was to focus on her studying with her private tutors and not cause any trouble. She rarely left the house, her father making it clear to her carers that she was not to set foot outside of the house in case of an emergency. Doctors were always called to their house for her monthly appointments, books and any other needs were brought to her immediately in her room and no amount of persuading could change her father's mind. The only source of entertainment she could rely on was the internet. There she could see everyone enjoying themselves and taking risks, while she on the other hand was not. It was obvious that the young girl would develop an ugly green jealousy crawling up her throat. Like any sane person in her situation, she longed to live normally but for now she can't.

It is shorter than I would have liked it to be, but it is kind of like an introduction to the story before it starts to get interesting, so sorry if this was a little bit boring.
