(F) Thunderstorm (Jihope)

Hoseok POV

I tossed and turned in my bed, sighing as I struggled to fall asleep with the loud rain outside my window. Thunder boomed, and I whimpered, hiding under the duvet. Thunder clapped once more, and I slipped out of bed to run off to my roommate Jimin's room, hoping he would be able to help.

Jimin POV

I was laying on my side, watching the raindrops drip down the windowpane. They continued rolling down, some merging together and siding down faster than others. I heard two quiet knocks at my door, before a shaking Hobi stepped in and shut the door behind him.

"I can't sleep," he pouted as he walked towards my bed. "The thunder scares me."

"Aww, come here," I patted the empty spot next to me and Hobi crawled under the duvet. A loud clap of thunder erupted and he whimpered, immediately jumping towards me. I wrapped my arms around him and gently rocked him back and forth.

"Shh baby, you're okay. We're safe inside." I reassurred him, tracing circles in his back. "You're safe here with me."

As the thunderstorm died down and now only rain pattered on the windows, Hobi calmed down, but wasn't going to let go of me any time soon. One of his hands were wrapped around my torso, the other clutching on to mine, our fingers laced together. Our hands fit perfectly together like two puzzle pieces. We stayed like that, our eyes shut, sharing each other's warm embrace.

I felt him lift his head off my chest, so I looked down and he was looking up at me with a little grin on his face.

"Thanks for calming me down," he said, pressing a kiss to my cheek. "Can you sing me a lullaby?" He said, snuggling into my chest once more.

"Kkwak jabajwo, nal anajwo," I softly sang into his ear. "Can you trust me, can you trust me, can you trust me, kkwak kkuereoanajwo. Yeojeonhi neogeseon bichina, yeojeoni hyaggi naneun kkot gata. Ije nareul midajwo, dasi nereul jabajwo, neorul neuggil su ittge nareul kkuereonanajwo."

By the time I finished, I realized he was already sound asleep in my arms. I smiled and kissed his temple, before cuddling into him and drifting off to sleep.
