  When Dr. Connors is talking to Norman Osborn's representative, and when Capt. Stacy is talking to Peter in the station, we see shots of both these characters from the side. Their lips do not match up with the audio.  

  On selecting Andrew Garfield  to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man, director Marc Webb said, "Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor's work understand his extraordinary talents. He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and humanity. Mark my words, you will love Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker."  

  When the police SWAT team are seen approaching Spider-Man after he had been downed by the stun dart, one of the officers is looking through the scope of his automatic rifle with the flip cover closed, meaning he wouldn't be able to see through the scope. 

 When Lizard finds Spider-Man in the sewer on his web (when trying to get pictures of Lizard), Lizard scratches Peter from the top of his chest down. In the next scene where Peter shows up at Gwen's window, his cuts go from the top of his left shoulder diagonally down to the right side.

  The first time that Peter attacks a guy in the city, while he is being chased the men climb to the roof much too quickly; by the time Peter gets to the top they are arriving at the roof. In reality, it would take much longer to climb those staircases.  

Peter sitting on the top of his porch while studying his father's notes was a reference to his spider instinct; how spiders have an a tendency to favour heights.

Gwen Stacy had blue eyes in the comics, but in the movies, she's got green eyes.

All four Spider-Man films have filmed on the Universal Studios Hollywood back lot. Ironically symbolic of the series itself, portions of the back lot burned down on June 1, 2008, meaning that first three used the old back lot while this reboot uses the new back lot.

Gwen's Apartment number is 2016.

Much of the children's artwork that appears in the film was created by Jaden Tell, the seven-year-old daughter of two set decoration buyers for the film.

Interiors of Midtown Science High School were constructed on Sony Studios' Stage 15. The stage housed four classrooms, five hallways, a restroom, a principal's office and secretary's office. The chemistry class was constructed of breakaway materials, to accommodate several fight sequences. Over 400 pieces of breakaway glass flasks, cylinders and beakers were acquired for this classroom alone.   

 When Peter leaves Gwen's apartment by jumping off the balcony, you can see he forgot his backpack. In the next scene however, he is carrying it again.

  When Flash hits the girl's can of paint with the basketball in the gym, a lot of paint is spilled but when Peter lifts up the can only a little bit of paint is spilled. 

  When Dr. Connors says some lizards can regrow lost limbs "at will". The regrowth is an automatic process like hair growth on mammals, no "will" is involved. He is imputing will to a natural process, a rather clumsy anthropomorphic metaphor for someone who should know much better.  

  When Peter first talks to Gwen in the school corridor, he pulls both earphones out of his ears but then his right ear clearly has an ear bud and wire dangling from it throughout the rest of the conversation.  

  After Peter falls into the wrestling ring after being chased there is a piece of wood which embeds itself upright in the floor. In the shot where it pans out to show him looking at the picture on the wall the wood is no longer upright and some others have changed positions.
