Imagine: Alec gets worried

I was finally done with my internship at the hospital for the day. My phone started ringing, it was Samantha my friend.

I answered the call letting her know that I was on my way back from the hospital. I started my car and drove it onto the main road, when all of a sudden someone stood in front of my car causing me to slam my foot on the breaks stopping centimetres away from the girl.

I got out of the car only to see that the person I nearly hit was my friend Sam. She started walking closer to me. I couldn't help but take a few steps away. Then she started to turn into a weird snake like thingy.

I let out a loud scream and started running away. I reached a dead end in an alley then someone yelled at me to get down. I was too shocked to move so I saw a tall figure stand in front of me.

Three more snake type thingys came out of nowhere. "Who are you guys? What's going on?!" I kept asking. A blonde guy asked "You can see us?" I looked at him like he had grown two heads. "Yeah that's kinda the point of being a person"

The snake thingy lunged at the tall guy knocking him to the ground. Then it started running towards me. I saw a metal pipe and picked it up swinging at the thing hitting it in the stomach. It came after me again and this time sent me flying into the wall my head hitting the wall.

The last thing I saw before closing my eyes were a pair of striking blue eyes, then the darkness consumed me.

Alec's POV:

I ran over to the mundane girl and protected her from any on-coming demon attacks. A shax demon tried to attack me but I shot it in the chest with my arrow.

Once all of the shax demons were sent back to Hell we all rushed back to the mundane girl that started bleeding due to the impact her head had endured.

"We have to take her back for treatment." Isabelle told Jace. I agreed with her we couldn't leave the girl to bleed.

After waiting for 30 minutes for patching her wounds up one of the shadowhunters came up to me and told all of us that she's slipped into a coma.

I feel so responsible for what happened to her. I watched her as her long black hair spread across the pillow, her body completely motionless except for her steady breathing.

I have sent Jace and Izzy to get me information about this girl while I sat down next to her in the chair. I heard a soft knock from the door and told the person to come in.

It was Izzy. "So we've found information about her. Her name is Tamara." Tamara... "How can she see us?"

"She has the sight. But none her parents or relatives were ever shadowhunters." That's weird. Izzy turns to leave but I stop her "Izzy can you get Jace to look into her some more. I'll stay here." Izzy nods her head and leaves.

~2 months time lapse~
Jace hasn't been able to find anything about this mysterious mundane with the sight. "Alec?" It's Jace.

"I think I finally found something about her. Her parents were related to the Blackthorns." Now it makes sense. As soon as Jace leaves Tamara starts to stir in bed.

"Tamara if you can hear me move your hand." She does it. I leave to get a glass of water for her, she must be thirsty. When I come back I see her sitting in the bed. Her black hair spread on the bed and her brown eyes filled with confusion.

I slowly walk up to her. "Hey Tamara. I'm Alec." She looks at me suspiciously. "Where am I?" Her voice hoarse. I hand her the glass of water and watch as she gulps it down. "You're in the New York Institute. We're shadowhunters and that thing you saw before passing out was a Shax demon."

I look at her and her mouth is now hanging open. "Demon? What? You must be delusional." She tried getting out of bed but nearly fell. Luckily I caught her in time and laid her on the bed. "It's true." She started laughing. "You must be joking. I mean there is no such thing as demons." When she saw that I wasn't laughing at all her face dropped. "You're not kidding are you?"

I slowly shook my head. She let out a sigh. "Wow. How long was I out for?"
She asked me. "About 2 months." She didn't look shocked at all, I don't blame her. After everything that I've told her why would she?

But she looked so beautiful right now. I leaned in till our lips connected, I felt these weird sparks. "Can I go back home now?"

Jace stood by the door. "I'm sorry but you can't. You're one of us now. You have the sight and demons could be looking for you if we let you go. You're gonna train with us starting tomorrow. Izzy will show you to your room." Then he left.

For some reason Tamara had a smile on her face. She got up and kissed me again. Then left to go find Izzy leaving me in the infirmary.
