Marcus' POV
Ten years ago, a box en girdled in a simple wrapper with a little greeting card attached above, was delivered in our house.
I opened the card leaving the gift aside and read it out loud, "Happy Birthday Xavier. From Thalia and Kuya Lhiam."
"Wow. You've got a present. From who?" Ate Xylie said while approaching me.
"Who is Thalia?" I asked with curiosity.
"Well," she started. She looked at me with sparkling eyes, "She's Lhiam's little sister. And they're going to give us a visit this weekend. I'm sure you'll like her."
"What is she like?"
"You'll find out, soon, little brother," she answered and left me with a mischievous smile.

"Bakit ang lawak ng ngiti mo?" tanong sakin ng babaeng may magandang ngiti, makinang na mga mata, mahabang buhok at mabuting puso.
Tila anghel siya na may magagandang pakpak na nagmula sa langit. Everything shines with her.

I stared at her. I'll never get tired looking at her face.
"Hoy Marcus! Bakit ka nga kasi nakangiti kanina? Ha?" pangungulit niya sakin.
But instead of answering her, I remained silent. I took a glance in the sky then look at her again. Now, she's giving me a weird look.
"What?" I asked.
"What? Anong what? Bakit ganyan ka makatingin? Kanina, ngingiti ngiti ka tapos bigla mo akong bibigyan ng ganyang tingin. Anong iniisip mo?" tanong niya.
I moved closer and smiled, "What? Am I forbidden to look at my wife this way?"
"Seriously. Your really unpredictable," she answered looking flustered. I smiled. She's even covering up her cheeks with her hands.
"Yeah. Just to remind you. This unpredictable guy is the one you fell for," I said.
We're actually in the park, sitting in the grass under the starry night. We do this every weekends. It's like our time alone without anyone or anything interrupting us.
Since , we're both busy with our works during weekdays, we decided to treasure every weekends and day offs we have. Sabi nga nila, live every moment to the fullest.

"Marcus," tawag niya sakin.
"Hmm?"
"Ipapaalala ko lang din sa'yo Mr. Lee," pagsisimula niya sabay tingin sakin. "We're not yet married," nakangising dagdag niya.
I knew it. Everytime I call her my wife, she'll open up this topic. We're six months engaged already and our wedding will be held next month. What's the big deal of calling her my wife today even though we're not yet married? Minsan talaga ay hindi ko maintindihan ang iniisip niya.
Naalala ko tuloy noong bigla siyang nagalit sakin dahil inaasar ko siya na liligawan ko siya. Although I really mean it.
"Ano na? Bakit kasi kanina ka pang ngiti nang ngiti?" tanong niya ulit.
