Chapter 1 - The Beginning

Nadia POV

"And....done" I smiled proudly, looking at my perfectly done letter.

Today is the day I'm going to send this mamma to Yōso Academy! I danced to one of my favorite songs, Not Today by BTS in my victory of writing 200 words. It took months!

My dad entered laughing at me trying to twerk. "You have noting to twerk with but your mom does" he said with a perverted look on his face.

I was covered in despair. "You so cruel, father"

"It's called honesty" he smirked.

I ran outside with my letter and placed it in our letter box outside. I squealed, clapping my hands.

The thing is I'm Nadia Toski, a Fire wizard like my mom. But she's one of the freaking Great wizards and most importantly, BADASS.

It was midnight Mrs. Harold screamed saying, "Shut up, bitch!"

"Sorry, Mrs. Harold!"

I went back inside to my bedroom and went to my only love, my bed. I fell asleep and had the most wonderful dream of surrounded by hot guys...that maybe made my bed wet by my drool or I peed.

I woke up in the afternoon. Dad was making pancakes in the kitchen. I sat beside him around our dinning table. His police officer badge on his uniform shun, blinding me.

I turned my eyes at my school bag on the living room table. Shit...I got summer school..

I sobbed, chewing my pancakes. I'm just bad at learning that they recommended summer school to my dad and he accepted. He looked really scary on that day, even my grandmother.

"I traveled from Japan to Americah not to to see my grandchild fail" she said with her weird accent.

"Gomenasai" I pouted.

He even contacted mom and she was furious that I felt her screaming slapping my ass through the phone.

I looked up at dad smirking. He slurped his tea loudly and chuckles...which made him choke. "Good luck, my beloved daughter.

"I hate you" I wined and he pouted.

I ran out of that prison, aka school as fast as I could. My friends weren't there since they are smartasses...well average.

Boom!

That's what I heard downtown. Without hesitation, I ran to the scene. People were screaming and running away and I'm that fangirl waiting for the wizards to show up. Mr. Mizu, a Great Water wizard was already at the scene. He was beating the crap out of the monster while I screamed taking pictures.

"You think you can defeat me," he laughed proudly then paused. "I am Arlin Mizu and-"

The monster was punched in the face by a great force with fire. It crashed into a building. Smoke surrounded everywhere then revealed the most badass person I know. My mom.

Mr. Mizu glared at her angrily as she walked closer to the monster with her heels making a clacking sound by each step she made.

"Flora...." he sighed.

"Tst....you are really pathetic" she scoffed.

"Hi!" I shouted, waving at her.

Her eyes widen then I felt an arm around my wait then a hand was placed over my mouth. I looked behind me and saw the person that created the monster. He smirked at my mom.

Crap...I'm bait...

"Flora, it will be terrible to see this innocent citizen die" he laughed evilly like those typically villains. I mean he's cute, I wanted a cute laugh especially he got dimples. What a waste of dimples...

My mom lifted her hands in surrender. Luckily enough that her enemies doesn't know I'm her daughter or I would be kidnapped every single day.

I dropped my eyelids half way when I reached my boredom limit. I'll teach this guy for messing with me.

I felt like everything went slow motion while I got out of his arms them fire surrounded my hands. I punched the guy in his guts then he went up into the sky. Mr. Mizu created an ice ceiling that the guy crashed into then started falling. My mom stood below him and clenched her fists. The guys landed on her knee but it was mainly his little solider did. Say farewell to getting laid.

He was unconscious laying on the lonely road. Mom shot a deadly glare at me then grabbed my arm tightly. "I'll be back Arlin. I have to take care of someone" she said angrily.

I gulped.

We went further away from the scene. She pointed at the direction to home. "Go home, Nadia Rose Toski" she said boldly.

"Come on, I can fight!"

"I don't want you to get hurt. Is that hard to understand!" her eyes shun and looked beast like.

"Just because I'm half human, doesn't mean I can't protect people. I'll be just like you and you can't stop me" I said boldly.

She growled. What's up with that?

"You are so stubborn..just like your father-"

"-and you" I smiled in victory.

She froze then covered her mouth. I heard her stomach growl and she blushed, not looking at me.

"Awe! You are hungry"

I took out a carrot out of my bag and gave her. We are both addicted at eating raw vegetables. She nibbled on it like a rabbit that which I do too. My dad finds it cute.

"Stop looking at me" she mumbled.

"Nah, you look so cute" I smirked.

She fixed her armor. I could not not stop looking at her bombs. Ehem! I mean boobs. I'm jealous.

She called a taxi and pushed me inside his car. "Tell you dad that I can't come home because of another quest and that he should stop looking at my panties drawers. I see him" she said looking really scary.

"Yes, mam!" I trembled.

The taxi drove off. From that day, I was more than determined to become strong like her and go to Yōso Academy. I need to work harder.
