Clove's P.O.V
Down in the training center the next morning, we meet the other tributes. After the introduction by our head training, I walk off towards the knives. I've used them in the training center in District 2, we're privileged enough to have one and have the opportunity to train for the games, it's not mandatory though, I would be taking care of Bear or my aunt so I never could really put in the time. I know Cato has been working really hard in District 2 in the training center, so he really knows what he's doing with a sword. Our career allies from District 1, Glimmer and Marvel, seem really experienced in their choice of weapons, a bow for Glimmer and a spear for Marvel.
After throwing a few knives around, I begin to get the hang of it again, hitting center target on every one. I didn't know I still had that in me.
From the corner of my eye, I can see Cato and Glimmer kind of eyeing each other, I don't know why but it makes me feel jealous inside. She's really beautiful, blonde, tall, everything I'm not. I wish I could get Cato's attention like she does.
