"i wish i were a princess," she tells to him.
"why?" he counters calmly.
"because i would have a magic fairy godmother, and she'd be able to add more time to your clock, or make you better, or something."
he stills.
"i wish i were a princess," she repeats, her statement final.
jordan is silent for a few moments, but his eyes twinkle when he responds.
"my darling, you're a queen."
