The next day had been a hard one

The next day had been a hard one. For one you had slept in, not getting up until 3:30 pm. After you had gotten up however, you felt miserable. It really wasn't his fault. He'd been tired and exhausted and obviously felt terrible about missing the day. Still, there was this ache in your chest. You were so excited to spend the day with him, and he didn't show up. Sighing, you got out of bed to wash your face and freshen up. Suddenly your phone dings and a notification from non other than your boyfriend shows up on the screen.

"Please meet me at the park at 5, it's urgent" was all the message read. You wanted to reject him, say you still needed time. But there was something about the vagueness of the message that wouldn't let you.

You replied with a simple, "I'll be there," and proceeded to take a shower and get dressed. It was 4:45 when you were ready and heading to your car.

You get to the park soon and make your way to the bench you knew he'd be at. As you walk up the pathway you begin to see a lot of pink. Squinting your eyes, you're pretty sure you make out a bunch of balloons in the air.

Not believing it at first, you continue to walk up until Marco sitting on a sprawled out picnic came into your line of view.

"You're kidding," you say as you reach the bench where you had first met.

Marco quickly stands up to greet you, "I just- I wanted to see you."

"This is really sweet of you," you comment as he takes your hands into his.

"I cannot explain to you how sorry I am. I messed up so badly-"

You cut him off with a long and passionate kiss on the lips.

"You're completely forgiven," you say as you pull away breathlessly.

He smiles at you and sits you down to begin the long yet delayed birthday date he'd planned for the day.

Diego:

It had been two days since your fight with Diego

It had been two days since your fight with Diego. You sighed, knowing you'd gone too far. He'd been in a vulnerable state and you let your jealousy add more onto his plate. Rubbing your temples you grabbed your car keys and headed straight for his house.
