Chapter 13:- The Battle

Ok you guys are lucky! I thought this would come out on Monday!
Well... since hardly anyone voted for either S or M, I'm not doing either. I came up with instead of just one of the scenarios, I'd be combining both ideas... this should be interesting.😉
Oh and please don't judge the fight scenes, I'm really bad at writing those.

The group did not hesitate to go straight into action. Trixie went up to the cave as if she was about to enter, bat ponies from all directions dove in front of her, little did they know she was waiting for the impact. She dove aside as the numerous amount of bat ponies did not turn, and headed straight into a tree, she gestured Mothball, Screwball, Fluttershy and Discord to get inside.
Inside the cave however, Midnight spotted something going on, "Miss Websie, there's intruders!" Websie turned her focus onto the cave's entrance a devious smile growing on her face.
"Alright! Time to put our plan into action! Get your father Midnight..." she laughed, "it's them." All of a sudden, Discord and Fluttershy flew to Zany's cage; Discord blasted a hole through the metal cage, and Fluttershy pulled her son out. Moonlight saw her grandparents and yelled for help, "Granddad! Grandma Fluttershy!" Nonetheless, the two noticed her and did the same to her cell,
"Oh my baby!" Fluttershy embraced her in a warm hug, "come on this way... we need to get you sorted, and get Zany fixed up." Websie noticed it all and yelled to them,
"Ugh! You fools! You thought it was that easy?" She blasted a net on the top of the cave and giant swarms of spiders came crawling out. Trixie entered the cave too and started battling the spiders off with Discord, so that Fluttershy could help Zany, running into the scene came Screwball and Mothball dashing towards their daughter. "Moony!" Screwball cried, hugging her daughter tightly, "oh we thought we had lost you!" Moonlight had tears in her eyes,
"Oh mummy!" Mothball joined in his family's hug, happy to know that his daughter was safe. However both Screwball and Mothball felt some pony approach them, it was Websie.
"Oh what a happy family reunion," she spat, Mothball glared at her angrily, Screwball handed Moonlight to Fluttershy
"I hope you don't mind, Websie, but we came to collect my daughter and brother in law" he explained through gritted teeth. She laughed,
"Oh... I never took you much as a family changeling, Mothball, but I suppose you've changed over the years,"
"Listen lady!" Screwball butted in, "he wouldn't have been with you no matter what the cost-"
"Oh, your the daughter of Discord! Mothball I can't believe you chose her over me!" She implied, Websie started circling the two. "After all we had..." Mothball stomped his hoof,
"We had nothing!" He shouted, "our stupid relationship was fake. It wouldn't even have worked out... I had no feelings for you!"
"But still, it happened. And choosing a spawn of chaos over a pony of your species is" she paused and glared at Screwball, "charming." Screwball was about to attack when Mothball stopped her with his hoof,
"Screwy no... your pregnant. Just leave this to me." He whispered. "So is this what this whole ordeal is about?" He questioned, "you jealous over my life!" She huffed,
"Oh no, no, Mothy-kins..." she walked over to Screwball and touched her face, "I want to destroy your wife!" Mothball stood in front of Screwball,
"Your just upset that I have no feelings for you, but face it Websie! It'll never happen! And you don't stand a chance to murder Screwball!" Her eyes burned red in anger, he loved the chaos mare over her! She only knew one way to settle this... to kill her. She charged towards Screwball but she fought back. Mothball shot at Websie and the two started to fight. Suddenly out of nowhere, Midnight came and saw Trixie and Discord fighting off spiders he smiled deviously and told his father to step in. Darkness came and Sombra swooped in attacking Discord specifically. Mothball looked at Websie, "really Websie? The best you could do was bring Sombra into this whole mess?" She screamed,
"SHUT IT!" She shot a green beam towards him but just barely missed. Discord was trying to aim his chaos magic toward Sombra as he said, "long time no see old friend! I see you have been helping a changeling kidnap my granddaughter" Sombra growled,
"Ugh... Discord, once I destroy you and your family my son and I are free to bring darkness across Equestria without you disrupting us!" Meanwhile Screwball, was trying to fight of Midnight,
"So let me get this right," she said, "your father is that Sombra guy fighting my dad?" He rolled his eyes,
"Yes... ugh swirly eyes." She gasped in offence, "NO PONY! I REPEAT, NO PONY EVER CALLS ME THAT!" She summoned a big hammer trying hard to squash the bat pony. Moonlight was watching the attacks in horror, "I want to help!" She called out but Fluttershy stopped her,
"Moony, honey, no. It's too dangerous just stay here with me while I try to sort out your Uncle Zany."
Mothball was still fighting off Websie while Screwball was beside him fighting Midnight, Mothball did a quick glance up and saw loose rocks and boulders on the ceiling, he looked beside him to see Screwball, he smiled with teary eyes as he said, "Screwy, I love you, take care of Moony." She looked at him in confusion as he pushed Screwball hard enough out of the way and shot a laser above him as rocks came crashing down on himself and Websie. The last thing Screwball saw was a green flash as she screamed tears pouring from her eyes, she ran over to the rocks and started taking them off. "Daddy!" Moonlight yelled as she ran over to her Mother's side, crying all over. Discord, Fluttershy and Trxie all froze in shock, Sombra disappeared and escaped the cave. "No, no, no!" Screwball cried on top of the rocks, "MOTHY!" She choked, her love. Her one true love was gone. She would never, ever see him again... to feel his loving embrace, or feel his warm love. He was the one thing in her life that made her think she wasn't the only pony who felt like an outcast, he loved her for who she was. Suddenly she heard vague coughs, from behind the pile of rocks, she ran over to the other side to find Mothball lying on the ground injured slightly on his shoulder, "oh Mothy!" She cried, he smiled weakly,
"Hi..." he coughed, she smiled and helped Mothball up,
"Quick, lets all get out of here" Screwball demanded. The group was at the entrance on the cave when they heard rocks moving, and some one coughing; they turned around and found Websie, full of cuts and bruises, scrambling out of the piles of rocks. "YOU!" She screamed at the couple, "you think you can defeat me?" She sounded insane now. "Well... I have only one thing to do to you, Mothball!" She fired an enormous red beam directly at Mothball,
"NO!" Screwball screamed, out of nowhere she had jumped in front of her love and took the shot. Everypony watched in horror as Screwball's lifeless body fell to the ground, Mothball on the edge of tears, watching his loving wife die right in front of him.
