Our Guest have now been here for 3 weeks and to be completely honest I'd have to say I am the happiest I've ever been. I love having the kids and Kali around and Kali has been a great help . Though I can't help but feel she's hiding something something big something important I don't want to pressure her to tell me but it seems like it's something that bothers her a lot and I don't want her to go through that alone. Maybe I'll mention it during our walk today
(Later that day)
" hey Kali can we talk for a minute" I say looking over at the brown haired girl " sure Michael what do you want to talk about?" She asks " well I've noticed that you've been kind of down in the dumps lately I feel like you're hiding something from me you know you can tell me anything right and I always be here for you" I say sincerely she looks up at me then back down again" Michael this isn't how I was going to tell you but I guess now is as good a time as any Michael before we met I found out I was pregnant I wasn't going to keep the baby because a baby's heart does not belong on the street I was going to go through with an adoption but I couldn't do it so one of my good friends offered to take him until I got on my feet well now that I am on my feet I tried contacting her yesterday and all she told me was that my baby doesn't need me anymore so now I don't have my son anymore and I'm heartbroken " she started to cry
I grabbed hold of her and pulled her close rubbed her back and told her everything was going to be okay and that we would get her baby back "legally they can't keep him from you you guys had an oral agreement and they have to stick with it" I say she stays silence and smiles "what is his name" I ask " Rhythm donavan Graham" she smiles " that is such an awesome name like for real rhythm I love it kali" I smiled "thanks michael I appreciate it I actually got the inspiration from your sister " she said "Rhythm nation" we said in unison "right she smiled " I've gotta get that baby back for her I need too
