Episode 26

"You really think we know what we're doing? We just left school, we're not even eighteen yet and you want us to move out?" Joe questioned them. He was becoming overwhelmed by everything and he knew Demi was too. It was like they wanted them to grow up to grow up quickly rather than taking their time like they wanted to. They had only just left school and hey felt rushed off their feet.

"It' what married couples do, just go have a look at it, I drove your car here and the address and everything is already set up in the car. We'll call you later on and you can let us know what you think." Paul stated and Joe grabbed hold of Demi's hand.

"Come on." He stated pulling her away from them with their suitcases neither of them saying another word to their parents.

"Can we really run a house? We don't really know how much money you're gonna be bringing back and I don't really want to get a job whilst I'm at college." Demi stated.

"They've done this for us so they can sort out that kinda business out," Joe sighed. "At least we'll be away from them?"

"That's the best part." Demi mumbled.

"I knew they'd do something like this. I guess we don't have much of a choice at the moment but they can help us with bills and shit, I'm not letting you get a job or anything." Joe assured her and Demi nodded her head as they reached the car. They put their suitcases in the trunk of the car before they climbed in the front two seats Joe grabbing the piece of paper from the dash board.

"Recognize where the house is?" Demi questioned.

"It's in a gated community so no, not really. But they said that they know we're coming and we just have to say our names at the gate." Joe shrugged his shoulders.

"I suppose at least it should be peaceful then," Demi breathed. "But you know it's probably going to be a family home right?" Joe slowly nodded his head as he started the car up and he started to follow the directions out of the airport.

"I know but if there are three bedrooms you can have a study and I can have somewhere to write songs and such. Or we can have separate rooms. We're not going to feel pressured about having kids this young." Joe urged.

"No, I want to enjoy my body the way it is before I think about having kids." Demi giggled.

"Me too." Joe grinned and Demi slapped his arm.

"It's a good job you're driving." She warned and he laughed.

Joe pulled up outside the house that their parents had brought for them but he kept the car on the road for now the two of them getting out of the car so they could have a look. They could guess they had moved everything in for them, made sure they could live in there but they couldn't help but feel nervous about it all.

"It looks nice." Demi admitted but they were still weary about it all.

"Yeah, let's have a look inside." Joe encouraged grabbing hold of her hand and he led the way towards the door only taking his hand back to unlock the door before holding her hand again leading her into the house. They looked upon a too specious hallway but it was big enough for them, the stairs were against the wall and they could only guess that past the stairs led them straight into the kitchen two doors on their left one being the living room and one being the dining room.

"It seems just a simple house." Demi admitted seeing some of their jackets hung up on her right a rack full of their shoes below. There was a cabinet on their left with some of their wedding photos above.

"Yeah which is all we need really," Joe agreed heading towards the stairs and Demi followed him. "We're changing this wallpaper, it' ugly." Demi laughed as they reached the top of the stairs seeing four different doors.

"I can cope with three bedrooms, we can share a room, have one guest one and then a study." Demi stated as they looked into the rooms. One was full with a bed and furniture, an ensuite bathroom two but the other two were plain to do what they wanted to them. But the more they looked around the more excited they were getting to be living away from their parents and together. It would give them independence they had wanted for a while.

"There might be a study downstairs somewhere, we'll have to have an explore later but this bed looks comfortable and I could do with a nap." Joe stated falling on the bed and Demi laughed jumping on him making him laugh too as they shared a small kiss.
