Percy's pov.

I was lead into a room with a long black couch and a large tv. I of course jumps and separate all the way out. My uncle gave me a very unimpressed look and rolled his eyes. Tony then yelled, "Time for a dance party!"

Pretty soon the music was jamming and I was just sitting back for once sometimes I can't believe that this is my life has lead me to this. First, I was just a normalish kid that maybe got into some trouble then I found out I'm a demigod. I fought so many monsters, in two wars, and lost countless friends. I met a good werewolf and his pack of misfits. Maybe those are the best kinda packs and friends. They may each be so different from each other but they still complete each other and bring completely different things to the pack. Now, I have met some very great people that are heroes of a different kind. They are heroes that are know to the public.
                        •••••
For some reason Tony wanted me to go with him to a superhero convention. He dressed as himself of course saying that was enough. I just threw on some jeans and a t-shirt. Crazy right? Haha not.

As we walked in I looked around and saw a man dressed as the Flash and he was just a tiny bit over weight but yolo man you only live once and who am I to judge.

I walked around for a couple and saw Tony a couple of time. For some reason I was beginning to feel heavy ad tired. They had these neat resting rooms with a bed and everything. In that moment I knew I was about to try one out.

I kept walking and I felt my footsteps begin to get heavier and heavier. I finally found the resting rooms and grabbed one of the keys. At this point I could barely keep my eyes open. I heard someone call, "You on something bro?"

All I could do was shake my head. I pulled the door shut behind me and the sound of the latch locking sounded throughout the room. I pulled myself to the bed and dropped down on it.

I began to dream and as we all now that is never ever a good thing.

The dream began...

I was in a flower patch. I could smell them around me. I looked up into the sky and saw it was a beautiful day. Blue sky, few clouds, and a gentle and comforting breeze. I looked and saw birds at first I thought they were beautiful and probably something ordinary, but this birds as they got closer were far from ordinary. As they got almost above me they start shooting their feathers at me. They were bronze and razor sharp.

I picked one up palming it in my hand and I began to scarp my brain for what they could be. They only name that came to mind was Stymphalian Birds. Damn it.

If I remember right then the birds tanother monstrous species only Hercules could defeat, very specifically liked to eat people, which is terrifying; however, the real problem is that the birds' feathers were made of bronze, razor-sharp, and they could shoot them at people. As was just proven. These were not birds you shoo away, unless you also wanted your hand shredded into bloody flesh confetti. Sounds just absolutely wonderful right? And once again, Hercules had to deal with these guys as the sixth of his Twelve Labors, with help from a rattle made by the god Hephaestus, which scared them into taking off from the swamp they lived in, allowing Herc to shoot them down. Well, good news thus can be defeated bed news don't have one of those magical rattles. Hey, they are deadly birds, but they are still birds.

I did the only thing that came to mind as the answer and that was to run. So ran I did. At my top speed. I would like to call it my run-away-from-these-scary-human-flesh-eating-birds run. Sounds about right. Anyway that's what I did.

I came to a stop and saw a young boy with dirty blond hair and swirling green eyes. They held fear and he was shaking. He ran to me and said, "Please hide me, Mister ."

I pulled him behind me as a beautiful women came into view. The boy clinched my pants.

She had silky red hair that came about to her middle back. She had a slim, but full frame. She was wearing a long white dress of an old fashioned Greek cut. She walked with grace. I called out to her. "Hey?"

As she turned the picture of her beauty was ruined. She had bright, to bright shining blue eyes and freckles spotted her clear skin. What ruined her look of beaut and innocence was the blood that was matted around her mouth and ran down her throat onto the front of her gown. She smiled at me and I saw her sharp and pointed teeth.
The boy huddled into behind me completely hiding as best as he could.

She walked forward to me and said, "I'm Lamia, and you must be young Percy. Have you seen a little boy?"

She licked her lips and I could only smile tensely and said, "I'm Percy, and no I haven't seen a little boy."

She smiled and said, "There's someone here that wants to met you."

She tilted her head off into another direction before calling out, "Little child come out come out were ever you are!"

She finally walked off and I picked the little boy up into my arms and asked him, "What's your name?"

He answered, "Gerard, but everyone calls me Gee!"

"Well, Gee, where's your parents?"

He looked down and said in a low tone, "I don't have any."

I smiled sadly and said, "Well, were family now!"

He grinned and said, "Really?"

I answered feeling my own smile coming on, "Really!"

His eyes sparkled with happiness and said, "You have to find me outside of this dream world then."

I nodded and asked the young green eyed boy, "What can you tell me about this place."

The boy swallowed roughly and said, "It's a place of monsters. They haunt us in our dreams. Kids, at my home never wake up sometimes after saying they have been to the monsterland."

I held the kid closer and said, "I'm not going to let them get you."

He began giving me a basic lay out of the place and who and what to avoid. I promise to met him tomorrow back here as he began to fade in and out. I promise to find him and save him from his "family". I would do this. On my life I promise.

                       ••••••

I heard a sweet voice calling out to me. I felt that this voice meant no ill intentions so I followed the voice until I came upon a woman dressed in a long black dress that sparked as if the stars were in it. Large dark blue wings sprung from her back and she had long black hair with deep golden eyes that held intelligence and compassion. She had a soft smile on her family and said to me gently, "I'm sorry for your loss, my child."

I looked into her golden eyes and she whispers with a sad smile, "I hate to ask you, young child, but it seem as if I'm trapped in this dream world."

I watched as she pulled her dress away from her ankles to show me the chains meeting her eyes again. She said in a sad voice, "I am trapped you are the only one that can save me. You can't do it alone, but you need to lead the team or it will never work. I know of your loses and for asking I'm sorry, but if I don't return to the sky soon the night will begin to fail and then the world will be throw into turmoil."

I nodded thinking about my choices if there was really even one.

She said, "Its time to awake, my child. Think about your answer before choosing, young hero."

I woke up to a white ceiling and got out of the napping bed as fast as I could before heading back out into the convention with out my mind leaving the dreamland really.
