"Good morning, Amelia."

"Dr. Torres-"

"Mateo. Please call me Mateo."

"No. Dr. Torres."

"Why is that?"

"That's all you are to me. You're my doctor."

"Is that how you see people?"

"What do you mean?"

"Are people only worth their use to you?"

"No."

"Have you talked to your roommates?"

"No?"

"Try talking to them. They're more than just bodies in your way."

"I never saw them like that."

"Oh?"

"Yeah. They're just people. I have no business talking to them."

"Why?"

"I won't be here long enough."

"You might be here longer than you think. Have you put any thought into what we discussed yesterday?"

"Suicide? I didn't do it."

"Amelia, you-"

"No. You're wrong. Whatever happened must have been an accident. A misunderstanding!"

"Amelia."

"I must have been set up-you have to find the person that-"

"Amelia. You did it. It's a fact. We have a recording."

                                              "911, what's your emergency?"

                                              "I-I can't take it anymore."

                                             "Could I have your name and location? We can send help."

                                              "A-amelia. I'm going to die tonight. I need you to arrest him. Please."

                                             "Is somebody hurting you? We can send help."

                                              "P-please. Arrest him. He ki-"

"That's not me."

"Amelia, There's six more calls from that night."

"Did I really? Wouldn't I remember it? Like muscle memory?"

"No? That's not how this works."

"I-Did I really?"

"Yes. You'll remember it in due time."

"Can we-I-This-Can we change the subject?"

"Okay. How did you sleep last night?"

"Good."

"A full eight hours?"

"Something like that."

"That's interesting. Lily says you were still awake at five and Loren said you were awake when she woke up at five thirty."

"Shit."

"Amelia, why are you lying?"

"I don't want to be here, okay? I want to go home to my family and spend time with them before Christmas break is done!"

"That won't happen if you don't spend time to focus on you first. You went through trauma and-"

"Does that buzzing sound mean I'm free to go?"

"You can go at any time. That buzzing sound means you met the satisfactory time for a daily session."

"Nice. See you Torres."
