all is well darling
he still loves you

sometimes heartbreak lasts forever
when he relapses he grows distant  
this doesn't mean he doesn't love you anymore

he's afraid of showing affection because
once you lose the one you thought you would be with forever
it takes a lifetime to regain the warmth for another soul
his has been dead for so long
as if one tiny ember slowly burning out

but when you touched him
the embers got hotter and hotter
enough to spark and start a flame

now the ember grows but needs more oxygen to keep it alive

he needs you darling
everything's okay
