Jonah's little sister

Chapter 5

Beth's POV

     "Jonah? What's up?" I ask.

     "Beth, I need to talk to you." He replies.

     "Jonah? What's wrong? You haven't called me 'Beth' since I was 12 and you broke my phone." I say. Seriously he only calls me Beth when something bad happens. All the other times it's 'Bethy' or 'Little sis'.

     "Bethy I know you can make your own decisions, but I wanna ask you to stay away from Jack. He's kind of a player." He says.

     "Oh thank god, I thought someone had died." I respond.

     "Ok, but seriously. Stay away from Jack." He tells me seriously. 

     "Ok you won't have to worry about that. Bye Jonah." I said and hung up.

     "What did Jonah want?" Zach asked.

     "He wants me to stay away from Jack," I told him. "That won't be a problem." I added.

     "He didn't say anything about staying away from me did he?" He asks.

     "No, I'm free to date whoever I choose. Just not Jack." I reply smiling at him. He smiles back then I feel his warm lips on mine again.

A few days later...

Beth's POV

     So Zach and I have been on another date besides the first and we still haven't told anyone. I'm starting to really like him, like really like him. All the guys in the band are really nice. They treat me like family. Which I kinda am considering I'm Jonah's sister.

     "I need to talk to you." Daniel tells me.

     "Okay?" I respond following him. We go outside by the pool.

     "I know about you and Zach." He told me.

     "What about me and Zach?" I reply casually. Did I forget to mention I'm an amazing actress?

     "Save it. I saw you guys kissing." He tells me.

     "I don't know what you're talking about." I tell him.

     "Beth, I'm sorry, but I have to tell Jonah." He tells me in a serious tone.

     "No!" I yell. "Alright you caught us. We met a day before I met you guys and we've been on a couple dates, but don't tell Jonah yet, I really like him." I tell him.

     "Beth, I have to." He says.

     "I swear to god Daniel if you tell him before Zach and I do I will make your life a living hell, oh, and did I mention I'm a black belt?" I tell him. I'm not really a black belt. Like I said, I'm a damn good actress.

     "Ok I won't tell Jonah." He says scared. It's at this moment that Zach comes out.

     "Hey guys what's going on?" He asks.

     "Daniel knows about us." I tell him.

     "What?!" He yells. "Did you tell him?"

     "He saw us kissing." I tell him. He looks shocked.

     "You can't tell Jonah." He says.

     "I already took care of that part." I tell him.

     "Oh thanks babe!" He says.

      "Babe?" Daniel asks.

     "Babe?" I ask.

     "Crap did I say that out loud?" He asks.

     "Uh yeah." I tell him.

     "Aww! You guys are cute!" Daniel says totally ruining the moment.

     "Don't tell Jonah!" We both say.

A few days later...

Beth's POV

"Daniel I need you!" I yell. I'm at the Why Don't We house and Zach is about to ask Jonah if we can go out, so I'm freaking out. Daniel comes up to me.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"Lets go outside." I say. We go by the pool. "Okay, so Zach's asking Jonah right now and I feel like I'm gonna throw up and have a panic attack." I rush out.

"Okay just breathe and don't vomit on me." He says backing up. I take a few deep breaths to calm myself.
