Morning Calls

Ok quick thing first. So when I was writing this story this song came on my playlist and I thought it was perfect for this chapter, don't forget to vote and follow!

I woke up, Alex's head resting my chest while she was curled up against me. Emma was still wrapped in her blankets, but instead she was asleep on the chair. She must have decided to sleep on the chair instead, don't blame her me and Alex took up most of the couch. She was probably too tired to go to bed though.

I ran my figures through her mid length black hair. I'm so lucky to have such a nice friend. I moved the hair out from her face.

"Morning..." I looked to see Emma, stretching her arms over her head as she stood up with blankets still around her. I brought my index finger to my lips to gesture to be quiet, not wanting to wake Alex.

"She sleeping?" Emma whispered and I nodded.

"Good she needs it, she barely ever sleeps." I wanted to question her but I was too scared to wake Alex. She nuzzled into my chest. We were still wearing the clothes from yesterday but all of our shoes were kicked to the floor. Alex still felt cold up against me. Why was she always so cold? She seemed to be colder then Emma, but Alex never showed her discomfort.

My phone beeped and I pulled it out of my back pocket, Alex slightly squirming. It was Sam, I put the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" I whispered.

"Dude why are your whispering, and where are you? Me, Jake and Zach have been calling you all morning."

"Sorry dude I've been ugh...sleeping." I said as I looked at Alex

"Do you have a girl over?" He partly screamed. Alex squirmed again.

"Sssshhhhh! No!" Now he was just annoying me. Alex squirmed again. Just before I was going to say something else she shot up and fell off the couch and landed on her back.

"Shit Alex are you okay!" I quickly put the phone between my ear and shoulder and stood up to help her up, but Emma pushed me out of the way. Emma helped her up, and helped Alex to her room. And I just stood dumbfounded.

"Dude your there with Alex?"

"What? No, me her and her sister...uhhh bought an apartment together..."

"You what?"

"We bought an apartment together....as friends...obviously!"

"Can we come over?"

"I have to make sure Alex is okay with it first. One sec." I put the phone on the kitchen counter and went to Alex's room and knocked on her door.

Emma opened it.

"Can I talk to Alex?"

"Ya I was just leaving." And with that she opened the door and went to her room.

"Hey you ok?" She nodded

"Your sure?" She nodded

"Is it ok if I invite the guys over? I wanted to make sure your ok with it first." She nodded. I furrowed my eyebrows at her. I waved my hand in front of her due to her just looking at the ground.

"Hello earth to Alex?" She nodded again. She finally brought her gaze to me. Her big purple eyes full of nothingness. She had no emotion on her face.

"Ok, I'm gonna get changed." She nodded.
