The next morning.. 5:45 a.m.

K A M I L L E

I got out the shower and put on a yellow sweater dress.

I put on some yellow converses.

I grabbed my backpack and went into the car.

"Hey mom since we're early can we stop at McDonalds and get me a breakfast Sandwich " i asked.

"Sure sweetie." She said

We pulled into the drive thru.

"Welcome to McDonalds, how may I help you?"the lady asked.

"Hi can i get an egg and sausage mcmuffin." My mom said.

"Will that be all?"she asked.

"Yes "

"$5.56 at the first window." The women said.

We drove to the first window and my mom handed her the money.

She gave us our change back and the receipt

We drove to the second window and she gave my mom my egg and sausage mcmuffin.

She handed it to me and we pulled off.

I didn't want to eat at school so i ate my sandwich in the car

8 minutes later

We pulled into and i got out.

"Thanks for the ride mom" I said as i shut the door.

"No problem sweetie, have a good day" My mom said.

She pulled off and i walked into the school.

I went to my locker and put in my locker combination.

I grabbed my books and went to English class.

When i walked in i saw keith sitting down

Keith got up from his desk and walked over to me

"Hey kamille" he said

"Hi keith" i said.

" do you want to sit by me - i mean you don't have to but if you want to you can" Keith said nervously.

I laughed.

"Sure keith i would love to " i said .

We sat down in the back and got out our notebook

We copied the notes down and had the rest of the bell to study our notes

"Wanna be my study buddy? " keith asked .

"Sure"i said.

We studied our notes and quizzed each other.

"So i see you're making friends already. " keith said.

"Haha yeah they're really nice." I said back

"That's great" Keith said

"Thank you" i said.

"So tell me about yourself " Keith said.

"Okay well im 17 , I'm the only child. My favorite color is yellow . In my free time i like going to explore. " i said shyly.

" that's nice " keith said.

"What about you?" I said.

"Im 17 too , i have 1 sister , skylar she's 5 i live with my mom and dad . I love basketball and my favorite color is burgundy in my free time i like to go hoop. " keith said.
