albus and gellert went back down the stairs. albus's face was flushed and his hair messed up, his knees slightly wobbly, yet he was grinning. grindewald wasn't so disheveled, but he too was grinning quite proudly.
"albus!" suddenly, his brother's voice boomed from the kitchen. "what is this?!"
holding in his hand was one of their posters, 'for the greater good'. gellert laughed coldly. "can't you read? or at least, see? it's a poster."
aberforth glared. "this isn't any of your business, grindewald."
"actually, it is, stupid. if you have a problem with him, you have a problem with me." albus positively beamed.
"aberforth, calm down. you're completely over exaggerating. it's just a poster."
but aberforth had whipped out his wand, aiming it at grindewald. "albus, i'm almost a hundred percent convinced he's got you under his curse. then again, you always were a git. i suppose you two are very much alike, then."
the first spell came then, from grindewald's wand. aberforth started to tap dance. he growled. "baubillious!" a white bolt almost struck grindewald, but he was too fast for aberforth. that was when albus joined in.
the three duelled furiously, two against one, though albus wasn't much trying. he was mostly attempting to keep them from harming each other.
when ariana came into the duel, at first, none of them noticed. it was when grindewald yelled 'crucio' and hit aberforth with the spell that they noticed: there was more than one scream.
"stop it, gellert, don't harm them! don't-"
a huge flash of light encased the room, and suddenly, ariana was on the floor. gellert looked at her and turned to albus. "goodbye." and with that, he disapparated.
