"There ain't nobody that can comfort me,

Why won't you answer me

The silence is slowly killing me"

"Good morning, what can I get you?" I asked the women who had just approached the counter. I work at Starbucks, so does Zoe Mae. I take orders and and she makes the drinks

"Can I get a Large Mocha Frappuccino and a S'mores Brownie please" She said

"No problem that will be £4.85" I rung it up on the till. She paid and I got her Brownie from the cabinet placing it in a brown paper bag. I handed it to her before seeing to all the other customers.

There wasn't much to this job, but it got me steady money so I'm not complaining. Also you get to see so many cute boys because who doesn't love a Starbucks every once in a while. I actually had someone ask me for my number earlier but they did look a bit young so I apologized and said no, the boy was sweet though, it didn't get him down.

"Name?" I asked the customer I was serving at the moment

"Josh" He said

"We've got another Josh with the same order, can I get another initial so you don't get mixed up?" I said

"You can just write Joshua" He said, his voice was smooth.

"Will there be anything else sir?" I asked him as I put his drink in the till

"That's it thanks" He said pulling his wallet out from his back pocket

"£2.45 please" I said, he tapped his card credit card on the machine. After the machine pinged signaling the payment went through he looked up at me and smiled. He had the most beautiful brown eyes. After he had left to wait for his drink at the other side we had no more customers waiting so I was helping Zoe make some drinks.

"Joshua?" I called out and the boy with the brown eyes came up to collect his drink

"Thank you" He said as I handed him his drink, I was looking at his face studying his features, my mind ticking

"Sorry, If you don't mind me asking, have we met before?" I asked him as he look too familiar

"No I don't think we have" He replied

"You just look really familiar" I said with a slight awkward giggle

"I've had that before" He said his voice as sweet a honey

"I better get going, thank you again" He said referring to the drink giving me a smile as he walked out into the busy London street.

"Who was the guy?" Zoe Mae came up behind me

"Just a customer, does he look familiar to you?" I asked her, my arms crossed still looking out of the window, watching the man slowly get farther away

"No" She said placing her hands on her hips

"I'm almost certain I've seen met him before" I said as he turned a corner and disappeared from sight.
