"Jackson!" The muscular boy jumped as my outburst reached his ears. With a laugh I jogged up to him since he had stopped in his tracks, he glared jokingly at me once I reached him. "What's up?" An innocent smile decorated my face.

"You're mean." He said with a poker face on and started walking away from me. He didn't get rid of me that easily, once you've been best friends since childhood you're practically attached by the hip. I jumped on his back and he casually caught me by my legs and continued pretending I wasn't currently clinging onto his back. With my head resting on Jackson's shoulder blade I closed my eyes and enjoyed the ride. However, once I felt the hair in my neck rise and alert me of someone's discreet, or not so discreet, gazes I instantly opened my eyes once again and was met by the dark ones belonging to none other than Im Jaebum. We were not friends, just mere acquaintances, but his eyes were casting looks that I was far more than used to by now. Some awfully awkward conversations had been shared between us in situations that demanded our interaction, such as group projects and unfortunate run ins somewhere around campus. I had learned to ignore his conspicuous glances and turned my attention to Jackson once again, he still had on that poker face that was supposed to give the illusion of nonchalance, but it didn't fool me, his actions spoke louder than his expressions.

"Are you ready for the carnival tomorrow?" I asked, easily starting a conversation with the boy I was using as transport.

"Of course I am, I'll be in charge of the ball pit, meaning I will meet a lot of children and you know how much I love children." Even though I wasn't able to see it, I knew that his usual derpy smile was evident on his face. "What are you in charge of by the way? You haven't told me yet." A scoul made its way onto my features and I groaned.

"You really don't want to know." I said, making his curiosity reach its peak. He put me down and turned around to face me.

"Yes I do, it can't be that bad, unless it is...." Realization suddenly washed over Jackson's eyes, his mouth opened until it resembled an o-shape and his whole body froze. I smiled at him, telling him his assumption was the correct one. Then he burst out laughing. "No way. No way!"

"Yes way." I muttered and continued walking towards our next lesson. He was soon by my side, accompanying me. I could tell that he was trying not to start laughing again, however unsuccessful.

"Are you really in charge of the kissing booth!?" I cringed and put my head in my hands. Did he have to say it so loud? The whole school wasn't in need to know that my lips were available between 1pm and 6pm tomorrow afternoon.

"Yes, I am, no need to yell it out loud so the whole world can hear." I muttered as I quickened my pace to get away from the now staring students around me.

"I'm jealous actually. I wouldn't mind being in charge of the kissing booth. Who's the other one in your twin booth? Someone I know?" I giggled.

"It's someone who probably never will stop bragging to you about it." He closed his eyes and let out a disappointed sigh as he realized who it was.

"Please tell me it's not..."

"It's Bambam." Jackson swore quietly behind me making me laugh at him once again.

"I will never hear the end of it." He muttered as we sat down in our seats. We had just reached our final class for the day, English. We had designated seats in this class and even though Jackson and I wasn't seated beside each other we were still close enough to talk, however, not always without getting caught.

The chair beside me was pulled out with a screech and a certain someone sat down beside me. As I mentioned before; we rarely talk unless we have too meaning I didn't even get a "Hi" and neither did I give one. His eyes however, were casting glances in my direction every so often.
