The Maid's Son

Chapter 22

Ethan's P.O.V

(This chapter is gonna switch point of views a lot)

I don't know if it's the fact that I woke up two hours early on a Thursday morning or something else but I am not in a really positive mood.

"Come on start packing. Your end of year exams start next week, right?" I nodded sleepily before kicking myself out of my blanket burrito.

"Okay, good." She left the room that's soon to not be mine anymore.

My mum managed to find a suitable house for up to move to that's close to her work and my school. Lucky her. I was half asleep when she explained so I'm not sure how she pulled such a thing off. Setting the question behind I began to get my things from the closet and closing them, ready to pack.

"Ethan I'm gonna run to the store and grab some boxes. I'll resign the position on the way back. Okay?" I nodded at her as she stood by my door.

I sighed.

Megan.

I grabbed my phone and called Megan. It rang five times before she picked up.

"Ethan it's four in the fucking morning what do you want?" She hissed angrily.

"Guess which blonde headed boy is moving close to his school with a lawyer for a mum?" I heard shuffling on the other side.

"Wait what, you're mum got the job?" She asked joyously Andi nodded.

Wait she can't see me, right.

"Yeah. We pack today and move officially tomorrow, how she pulled that off... I don't know but she did." I said.

"That's great, now pack your shit and let me sleep. Wait, you're not going to school?"

"Nope."

"Aww. I was gonna tease you today. Whatever I'll do it now. Ethan has a boyfriend! Ethan and Andy sitting on a tree k-i-s-s-i-" I hung up a deep blush coating my cheeks.

I called Jax and Andy quickly and filled them it before showering briefly and then returning to packing.

Alex's P.O.V

I woke up for school feeling like o got run over by a bus. I don't know why it bothers me to see the maid's son kissing another boy. It just does. I haven't slept all night replaying the event in my head over and over.

"Well, we appreciate what you and your son have done for up, while it lasted. We're thankful that you spent so much time with us. Your departure is unfortunate however. The twins seemed smitten with Ethan, and Alex with you. I'm sure he'll understand though." When did my mum get back?

Departure?

What the hell is going on?

"Yeah, I'm sorry to quit in such short notice I just got an opportunity to provide for my son and I took it. " Quit... Dianna.

A piece of my heart seemed to be ripped out but not because of Dianna, maybe she ripped a small piece but not all that large.

"It's fine Dianna. We understand I'm sure Alex will too."

I walked in and made a look like I just woke up.

"Hey, Alex honey, can we talk?"

"When did you get home, mum?" I asked ignoring her question hoping that if put it off it won't be true.

"Last night, I didn't want to wake you. Please sit." She gestured to the chair in front of her.

I did as told.

"So, Dianna is resigning her position as our maid. She and Ethan will leave tomorrow afternoon which means we'll need a replacement so when the candidates come I want you on your best behavior. Okay?" I don't think she sees how much this is affecting me internally.

I nodded afraid my words will reveal my emotions.

"I'm gonna miss you Dianna." That was true but I felt it wasn't all I wanted to say.

"I'm gonna miss you too dear, really." She spoke sincerely which made me feel bad for not being as sincere as she was.

"I'm gonna go, I left Ethan alone and if I do any longer he might not do any work." Dianna stood and I stood after her I gave her a goodbye bmhug and she left.

"I'm gonna go get ready for school." I said when she left.

"What about breakfast?" My mum asked.

"Not hungry." I answered waking up the stairs.

What's happening to me?

Ethan's P.O.V

My clothes were packed in a crap-ton of suitcases, the same I used to move in. I just need the boxes.

As if on cue with my thoughts the door was opened.

"Here are the boxes for your books and anything else you may need to put in here." She handed me your boxes, still not put together, and a roll of thick tape.

She walked out to pack her own things and I taped boxes together before putting a bunch of things in it. The house was furnished when we moved in so all we have to pack is what's on top of it all. Thank goodness.

Alex's P.O.V

I sighed in class... lost... im.not sure what the hell it is that I'm feeling. It's not about Dianna and I haven't known Ethan enough to be him. The thought of him made me heart beat faster for some reason. It can't be him, I barely know him. I've talked to him like eight times. That's it. My heart rate accelerated. I know, he is a brave guy, he came out... in a way. I need to do so too. Right? That's what that is. The beating in my chest slowed for a second. Yeah, that's it. I'm coming out to my mum. Tomorrow. First thing.

I felt a little more relaxed.

Ethan's P.O.V

My room was packed. It looked exactly the same as it did when I moved in. Bare bed, empty desk. Everything was gone. Now I have to help my mum with the living room and kitchen and all that stuff. The kitchen will be the hardest due to all the utensils and other things. The day seemed to end quickly. Too quick. So quick that we didn't finish packing everything.

"Okay, Ethan go get some rest it's a long way there."

"I can say the same for you mum. You're driving."

"Yeah, I'm gonna finish up and then I'll get some sleep." She said.

I sighed reluctantly going to the room that will soon not be mine and went to sleep. I didn't change out of my clothes. I've been in sleepwear all day anyways. Even after my shower. I sighed in bed dose off.

*sigh* I've started High school guys. I'm gonna make like a pickle and pi-kill myself. I'm joking, sometimes old people make jokes. Okay, no more, so, sorry for the late update. I kinda got distracted reading gay fan fiction... what? Oh, you do it too, don't lie. Anyways sorry. I'll try and remain punctual from now on. Bye.
