Back To School

  It was the first day back to school. Feeling a bit nervous I tried to calm down. My brother gave me a ride because my parents aren't too keen on letting me drive yet which is completely understandable. "Call me if you need anything." Nodding I got out the car entering the school. I quickly asked directions to the office and stood in front of the receptionist. "Ms. Dunne, it's great to see you back." She handed me my schedule and a map. "Thank you." I kindly smiled. "You're teachers are informed so no worries." Nodding at her I walked out the office. Sighing to myself I felt useless. Now where in the world is my damn locker! "Oh hey Elizabeth!" A tall blonde came over to me. Intimidated by her looks I looked down. I was confused trying to remember who she was but nothing came to mind. "Sorry but since the accident I can't really remember things." She smiled. "Oh no worries. I'm Isabella one of your best friends silly." "Oh, hey. Could you tell me where my locker is?" She nodded as we walked down the hall. I didn't remember seeing her in the pics the guys showed me but I shrugged it off. Maybe she was but I wasn't paying attention. "You missed my little birthday party Friday." I looked at her. "Yeah, sorry about that. I had some family things to attend but I got you something. I left it home since I didn't know you were coming today." I looked through my notes to find my locker combination. "Oh don't worry about it. Family comes first."

(Kim's P.O.V.) I saw Liz opening her locker and Isabella at her side. "What are you doing Isabella?" I glared at her not liking this one bit. "Kim, good morning to you too." She gave me a sweet smile. "Kim, you didn't tell me I had another best friend." Liz spoke as I looked at Isabella. "Yeah, Gelo." I spoke. "No, Isabella." Instantly Isabella hooked arms with Elizabeth. I couldn't believe Isabella would do thing knowing Liz got into an accident. I swear if she hurts her in anyway I'm killing her. Sorry Gelo but you're going to be single. "Isabella, could I talk to you in private." I hooked her arm with mine harshly pulling her away. "What are you on about?" I glared, thank god my eyes aren't guns cause she would be on the floor right now. "I have no idea what you're talking about Kimberly." Her smile was aggravating me. "Don't act stupid. You hate Liz and now you claim to be best friends?!" "I did hate her, but I woke up today in a good mood." "Bullsh*t." I flat out said. "If you hurt her I'm killing you. It's not a threat honey, it's a damn promise. You don't mess with my best friend " I warned her as I hit her shoulder in the process of walking towards Liz. "Hey let's get you to class alright." She handed me her schedule. "Yeah, is Isabella coming?" She asked. "No, she's got to do something." Nodding we both walked to her science class. Gelo met us half way which I was thankful. "Ms. Dunne, great to see you again." Liz just smiled at Me. R as Gelo held onto her hand leading the way. I walked towards my locker seeing Jason there. "Hey babe." I hugged him. "What's up? You look mad." He held onto my waist. "Isabella. She lied to Liz and told her that they were best friends. I know she's up to something." I sighed leaning against the locker. "She can't stand Liz and now she's acting like they've been friends forever." "Maybe she's trying to change. Be more friendly." Jason shrugged as I gave him the "are you really that stupid look". "Ugh, you don't get it. Boys. Isabella being friendly to anyone but her posse? Please. I'll believe that when pigs fly. Let's go to class." Jason kissed my cheek as we walked hand in hand to math class. The whole class period I spent on thinking of what Isabella might have up her sleeve but came out with nothing. The teacher wasn't here today due to "family problems." Jason rubbed my thigh making me sleepy. I texted Gelo telling him to tell him to take Liz to her classes. I didn't want her wandering off to someplace else. Soon after I was woken up by the bell. "Babe get up." Jason whispered. "No. I'm tired." I heard him laugh as he picked me up bridal style since I was being lazy. "This is why I love you." I managed to peck his cheek. When we arrived to the cafeteria Jason put me down gently as I scanned the entire room for Liz and Gelo. He went to his locker to get the rest of his books as I walked up to them. "Hey guys." I sat in front of them. "Hey Kim." "What's up." "How are you holding up?" I asked Liz. "Better than I expected thanks to this guy." She nodded towards Gelo. "The teachers?" She looked at me. "The teachers are being cautious about me but I told them that I got this. But they still won't budge." She sighed shaking her head. "Liz is still the same nerdy girl." Gelo joked as Liz playfully punched his arm. "Not funny. School is to be taken very seriously. You aren't going to succeed without an education." She spoke as Gelo pretended to yawn. "Rude." She moved away from him making me laugh. "No come back! Liz! I love you come on!" He pulled her towards him as she let out a giggle giving in. I wonder how Gelo feels knowing that she isn't going to remember her ever having feelings for him. They are meant to be, don't get me wrong Michael is a wonderful guy but come on Gelo and Liz make a perfect couple. "Alright, alright, too much cuteness happening for my eyes and my boyfriend isn't even here." I pouted as I noticed Liz start to slightly blush which meant that Gelo had a little bit of hope to be with her. After lunch Liz had a free period so she called her dad to pick her up. I had one more class and it was with the boys. When we got to class the teacher put on Romeo and Juliet. Everyone groaned because we've been reading the same damn book since elementary. "How are you holding up with the whole thing?" I asked Gelo who was busy typing on his phone. "Honestly, I don't know. My emotions are like a damn roller coaster. I'm angry at myself for not making a move when I could've. I'm extremely grateful that Liz is alive. I'm sad because she doesn't remember what happened with us. I'm also confused because now all of the sudden Porter acts like the world's best boyfriend and I can't do a damn thing about it cause he's her boyfriend. I'm exhausted with Isabella treating me like a damn bank." He huffed. I felt bad for him. "Look, I know deep down Liz still had feelings for you. And I know she's with Michael but if you want her as bad as you claim you do then why don't you make her fall for you all over again like the last time." I gave him a small smile. "I know Liz likes you for who you are so show her." He looked at me. "I don't even know what I did. It just happened." He admitted. "You guys always used to hang out at each other's houses all the damn time from school to night and on weekends it was morning to night." My brother spoke. He was one of the first people to know how both of them felt towards each other and plus he is Gelo's beat friend. "Surprise her at her house and watch a movie or that show Friends." My brother thought. "Dude you're right. She loves that show and we always watched it together." Gelo dapped Eli. "Gelo go get your girl!" Phaq and O teased making me laugh. "Damn Gelo. Okay I see you." Don laughed pushing Gelo's shoulder playfully. "I always had a feeling you two were going to end up liking each other." Don admitted as everyone else nodded. "Facts. Y'all were inseparable." Everyone agreed. Finally class was over and we all walked outside to the cars. Isabella was leaning against Gelo's car as he sighed. "Hey baby." She tried to kiss him but he moved so she could kiss his cheek. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Nothing I'm just tired." He replied not paying attention to the clingy girl in front of him. "Do you want to go over my place and make it feel better?" She ran her nasty little fingers up and down his arms as he pulled away. "No I just want to go home. I'll see y'all tomorrow." He dapped everyone up. "Bye Isabella." With that he got in his car driving off. I wanted to laugh but I contained myself and smirked. "What?" She gave me a nasty look. "Oh nothing. Just the fact that you look desperate." I shrugged. "Come on babe." I took Jason's hand walking away from her.
