"Praying"

I sat out by their pool while they filmed their mashup. I couldn't help but fall in love with their voices. They were all so amazing I mean I could sing but I was no where near as good as them. I couldn't help but notice that Jack kept staring at me, I mean I'm not really complaining because it's Jack but I just kind of wished it was Daniel.
After they finished Corbyn came over to me.
C: "hey you looked lonely over here" he said sitting in the chair next to me
K: "not really just listening to you guys, y'all are crazy talented"
C: "aw thanks Kit, do you sing"
K: "I mean a little but I'm not that good"
C: "I bet your better then you think" I smiled. I'm not going to lie I think I'm a very good singer. I was in choir all my life and I sang when people weren't home because I was always really scared to sing in front of people so I never did. I also never did any solos in choir or did anything to stick out. We kept talking to find out we had a lot in common. We pretty much became instant best friends. After a while Logan told me it was time to go. I hugged all the boys and we left.
*Skip car ride*
Logan dropped me off at the house and left to go to Marks to film a skit for his vlog. For some reason after hearing the boys sing, it made me really want to sing. Luckily no one was home. I don't know why but since I was little I could never sing around people I was too scared. I went up to Logans recording room. Basically just had a recording booth and all of the different things that studios have but it also had a piano. I had printed out sheet music to Praying by Kesha because that was one of my favorite songs at the moment. I started playing and singing the song. When I was done I hear clapping from behind me. I jump up and turn around and see Logan and Brendan AND THEY WERE VLOGGING!
K: "how... how long have you been here" I said about to cry
L: "Pretty much the whole time Kit why did I never know you could sing like that"
K: "I.. I don't um like singing in front of people plus I'm not that good" I say visibly shaking
L: "are you kidding Kirstin that was so amazing your so talented" he said walking over and hugging me
L: "We should record you singing and put it on YouTube"
K: "I mean that sounds great and all but I just don't feel comfortable doing that"
L: "ok" he said smirking into the camera
K: "hey, no don't you get any ideas" I say walking out of the room and running into my bedroom. I don't know why I felt this way. I mean logans my brother and I'm pretty close with Brendan but I just have really bad stage fright I guess you could say.
After that I realized it was 10:30pm I took a shower and went to bed.
*next morning*
I wake up around 12:30. I normally slept pretty late and today we weren't doing much so that was ok. I immediately got on my phone and realized I had hundreds and hundreds of notifications. Why? What did I do? I go to my texts first.

A: oh my god your such a good singer
K: wait how do you know that???
A: did you see logans vlog?
K: no why?
A: uhh I would go watch it
I went to YouTube and started watching his vlog. About half way through this happens
L: "hey so my sister Kirstin dosent think she is good at singing but we filmed her so please send her a lot of love saying she is amazing because she is so talented and needs to know that." And then he played a short part of me singing. Oh my god why would he do that. I told him not to. I didn't realize I was crying until I saw a tear hit my phone. I jumped out of bed to find Logan.
K:"LOGAN WHERE ARE YOU" I say screaming
L: "down here sis" I hear him call from the living room. I run down there.
K: "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME" I yell holding up my phone
L: "are u gud bro, does someone need the u gud bro survey" he says laughing
K: "Logan this isn't a time for jokes" I said crying harder
L: "hey why are you crying"
K: "because this video already has like 1 million views that's a lot of people hearing me sing Logan" I say as he hugs me tighter
L: "shhh listen kit I'm sorry it made you so upset but look" he says showing me his laptop
L: "look at all these comments" I read them and all of them were saying she's so good, how is she not famous, I need a full cover. In that moment I thought to myself why am I upset, these people love me and who knows maybe I can do more with singing.
I hesitate at first but then I say it.
K: "they want a full cover... let's give them one" I say smiling really big
L: "wait really"
K: "yeah why not I mean be a maverick let's go" I say pulling his arm to get him up
L: "that's my girl" the three of us rush upstairs to the studio and start recording. It felt so good to sing and I wondered why haven't I been doing this my whole life. I couldn't help but notice Logan smiling so big. He was so proud of what I was doing and it made me feel so good. After I was done I walked out of the booth.
L: "holy shit your amazing"
K: "why thank you" I said flipping my hair
K: "now lets go record a music video" we go outside and I found a huge tree with leafs hanging everywhere it was perfect. It was a really simple music video but I loved it. After we were done we went back and edited it. We spent hours making cuts and making sure it was perfect. Once we did we uploaded it to YouTube.
L: "now are you sure you want to do this"
K: "yeah I'm positive" I say hitting the publish button. I started jumping up and down I was so excited.

After only 1 hour of it being up it already had 3 million views. What was happening to me I couldn't believe it. I run downstairs.
K: "LOGAN LOOK" I say showing him my phone
L: "oh my god 3 million views already that's crazy"
K: "I know right"
L: "I have to go run something by the why don't we house want to come with?"
K: "yeah give me 20 minutes" I rush in my room to do my makeup. It was pretty much already done from the music video earlier but I just touched it up and my hair was already straight. I picked out an outfit and met Logan at the front door.

*Skip car ride*
We roll into their driveway and hop out of the car. We walk in the front door and all the boys come running to hug me. I was taken back at first because I didn't know why they were doing it, but hey 5 hot guys hugging you I'm not complaining.
D: "Kit why didn't you tell us you were so good as singing"
Ja: "yeah seriously you're so amazing"
Z: "I've never heard a better voice in my entire life"
C: "you slayed that Kit"
J: "Your so talented" they all said at once.
K: "aw you guys are so sweet" we continue walking in and we all have a seat on the couch.
D: "So Kit we actually have a question we wanted to ask you"
K: "yeah sure" I said confused
D: "well we wanted to know if..."
