Chapter XIV

       He grinned nang maaninag na ang ibaba ng bangin... "high tide.."

       At parang slow motion ang lahat ng bumagsak sya sa tubig. He opened his eyes and looked around...his only source of light is the brightness of moon..

      He swim deeper and deeper...

"Dylan.."

"Dylan.."

"Dylan.."

      Finally... he saw her pale body a few feet away from him. Hindi na sya nagsayang ng oras at agad na lumangoy patungo dito. Then she's finally in front of him. He touched her face and that touch ignites warm light from her body. Hinawakan nya ang kamay nito at doon nya lang napansin ang kadenang nakatali sa paa nito. When he looked closer...nakita nya ang isang malaking bakal na bola na pumipigil sa paglutang ni Cassandra.

     He desperately untie her at niyakap ang katawan nito. He pushed her higher until they both reach the shallow part of the sea. His heart's pounding hard against his chest while staring down at her.. his vampire...

      Ilang saglit pa nyang tinitigan ito hanggang sa unti-unti na itong magmulat ng mata. His hands were shaking while touching her pale face.. "Cassandra.."

       She moaned and grabbed his clothes to get some support while she's trying to wake up. Nang tuluyan na itong magising...Dylan's smiling at her...until... her face remained passive.

"C-Cassandra..."

She stared at him blankly, and tilted her head a little, "Call Jayden. Madami pa kaming dapat pag—"

"Cassandra."

"I don't know you, mister. Just please bring me to my knight. I'm tired and I want to rest for a while."

         Parang lalo pang nanlamig ang buong katawan ni Dylan dahil sa narinig... She's talking to him as if hindi sya nito kilala, even her eyes.. remained blank.

" What??"

"H-Hindi mo ako natatandaan?"

"Hindi kita kilala. So please, get me out of this place. And I want to see Jayden."

Dylan frowned.

"What?!!! I said alisin mo ako sa lugar na toh. And don't you dare look at me like that!"

         Dylan can't take it anymore...sobrang nasasaktan na sya sa lamig ng boses ni Cassandra and he finally realized that she's now a pure blood vampire at makakalimutan nito ang lahat ng bagay sa panahong tao pa ito...but why Jayden? Sa lahat ng pwede nitong maalala...si Jayden pa.

       He grab her waist and kissed her fiercely.. desperately hoping that she'll be able to remember him.
