Chapter 32: We're going to LA!

Sorry that it's a bit short compared to all my other chapters but I kinda have a bit of writer's block so don't kill me <3 Anyways here you go my darlings :D I hope you likes :)))

Link's POV

I sat on the bed, it was the only thing in the room apart from my duffle bag that sat near the door. I was waiting for Matt to get back so we could leave.

I think that this was the longest I'd ever stayed in one place, it was quite weird actually. You'd think I'd be sad leaving the place that held some great memories and times but I wasn't. In fact I was glad, staying here for so long made me …. nervous. I've never really had a home.

 Matt walked in the door and came through, everything was ready. We were driving to Los Angeles, because Matt wanted to take his car with him. 

I jumped up of the bed, grabbed my bag and skipped down to the car.  Matt was soon also down and we were on our way. One step closer to finding Mello and Blaze. 

"This is exciting Matty!! We're going to find Mello!" I said as Matt drove down the freeway. I resisted the urge to make a song about finding Mello and took out my phone. 

I looked out the window as I listened to music and several posters and billboards caught my attention. They were all related to Kira, most of them were in support of Kira but I saw a rare few still opposing him.

It was disgusting how there were so many supporting him, why would anyone in the right mind support him?! 

"Urgh! Have you seen those posters?! Kira needs to be caught, the way he's doing things isn't right! Plus it's personal for me." I said resentfully.

NOTE TO SELF: Get vengeance on Kira. 

Matt nodded in agreement from beside me, I doubt he even heard me as he was also concentrating on his PSP.

After an hour and a half of driving we reached a service station. After just endless road I was so glad to see the small shop and service station. I jumped out the car and ran for the shop, while Matt stood refuelling the car. I hope they have cookies!! I was soon joined by Matt who grabbed a packet of cigarettes while I had a box of cookies.  

I placed the items on the counter and waited for the person to serve us, as the girl behind the counter walked over she started to talk to us. I began speaking to her but then suddenly I switched languages between Spanish, French, English, Japanese, German, Indonesian, Italian and Chinese. The girl stared at me in utter confusion and I burst out laughing, I find it amusing confusing people. Matt stepped in and paid for our items, trying to hide a smirk. 

We got back in our car and I ate my cookies happily. Matt looked over at me, and laughed. Then we were back on the road.

I soon fell asleep and Matt kept driving. After a while I woke up again and saw that we were still driving.

"MY TURN!" I called out.  

Matt as usual smirked at me then shook his head, he wouldn't dare trust me with something like a car. Looks like I will never get my turn….

 I pouted and turned my head away from him in a melodramatic way, pretending to sulk. After a few seconds I slowly turned my head to look at him,  sneaking a glance. He was looking right at me, I quickly turned my head away again and a smile formed on my face. Matt snickered beside me, I turned back and laughed.
